- 5 out of 5 stars review4/13/2015[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not only does it absorb a tremendous am out of liquid, I also rinse and reuse. I have used them for everything. Juice on the table? Bounty. Milk on the hard wood floor? Bounty! Broken glass of iced tea? Bounty picks up everything securely. I have even used Bounty to scrub liquid from carpet. The most interesting cleanup was when coffee went between my desktop and the glass covering placed on the top. I lifted the glass a little because it was too unwieldy to remove without help, slid a sheet between the desk and glass and watched the Bounty wick away the coffee. Saved my desk!

The rolls had almost no perferations at the tear points. None of the towels would tear off properly. Had slight problem with this other times lately. Thanks for your attention to this problem.

For example: I can get one towel damp and it will clean up and trap dry crumbs from my counter without just pushing them around and then ending up all over the floor. Then I can get that same towel wet and wipe down a large counter, then rinse it out wring it dry spray the counter with cleaner and get my granite counter sparkling clean. But I'm not done with this wipe yet! It has lots of use left, but since it is already used I'll clean things like the sink basin, the walls, and then before I'm finally done I'll spot clean a few areas on the floor, or use it to wipe down the trash can. When I have only 1 hand free, the sheet tears right off and I get only what i need. My husband buys this in the giant 6-8 paks.

I have 3 boys, very clumsy boys just like their mama, so we make a lot of messes. With Bounty we can use way less to clean up. I love the select a size, too, because it allows for much less waste. Yes they’re a little more expensive, but when you use less, it averages out.

I’ve always used Bounty paper towels because I just find them to be highly absorbent and sturdy. It doesn’t break apart easily when scrubbing tough stains, unlike a lot of other towel paper brands. What I especially appreciate about this product is that you have the option of using half size sheets, which is what I always opt for. I find this to be far less wasteful because I use less paper each time, and because it’s so absorbent, I don’t really need more than that.

Then use it to wash the knife and mayo spoon. Then rinse it again. Then use it to mop up water dripped on floor by the dogs. Rinse again. Let dry. Use it to clean dogs muddy feet. Then , maybe, it finds it's final resting spot in the compost bin. All with 1 sheet! That would take half a roll of the cheap junk.
It's a plate! It's a dish cloth!. Wait! It' a floor mop!

They really are the better picker upper. I like that I can select a size for the job I need. They are more than most papertowels but well worth it. It dosen't take as much to clean up a mess. I am so glad I received this superior paper towels. Bounty has so many uses in my house. On the day I received these paper towels, I used them to capture the excess oil from frying bacon. I also used these towels to line the inside of my fridge. Helps to capture any spills. Finally I used these paper towels to wipe down the kitchen counter tops. I also like that I can choose the amount of paper towel I need. This will continue to be on my shopping list.
Bounty to the rescue

The paper is not a soft as it used to be and doesn't absorb as well as it used to. I recently bought some Brawny towels and was much happier with them. If the problem of shredding and tearing continues through this last package of 6 rolls of select-a-size, I probably won't buy Bounty again.

They were always so much better (thicker, softer, more absorbent) than all the other brands. But this batch I bought the other day are just as hard and thin as the cheapest off-brand. I will no longer be paying through the nose for a product whose quality has been so drastically reduced. Hopefully another company will step up soon to provide shoppers with a better choice.

But something has changed. In the last two packages purchased, the rolls were folded at the bottom, causing the sheets to tear unevenly. Very inconvenient and defeating the purpose of select-a-size. The first time we thought it was just a random quality control error in production, but then encountered the same problem in several subsequent rolls. Have you changed your process or supplier? Right now, Bounty has lost its select-a-size advantage and we will not be purchasing it again until this problem is corrected.

When you need a paper towel, you need durability and high absorbency. The generic brands are not only thinner but the non-quilted texture just requires more effort and more plies of paper to get the job done. If you want efficiency, this is the product that will facilitate it. If you want to spend less and use more paper towels (hence, not really saving you any money AND wasting more of your time), then by all means, to with the generic brands.
