Love my patio set
I purchased this summer. I placed a cover over my patio set and it looks brand new. I love sitting out side watching my kids while they swim. This was worth every penny. Also the table is very heavy, which is good because it gets windy at my home
Love this set.
This is a very nice patio set. The furniture is heavy and well constructive. The problem is I received the table with a deep scratch. I called the number for some touch up paint and was told just to go to a paint store and get the paint io match. If the table was not so heavy or if it was not such a problem I would haves shipped it back. Tell me how I could pick up the table to get the paint matched. I was very disappointed in the customer service I received.
Beautiful Set
This is a beautiful set that will adorn your patio area. It is fairly large so make sure you have the room for it. It was well packed and delivered on time. I was able to put it together by myself but needed my wife to help turn the table right side up because it is heavy. The quality of manufacturing was not 100% though. My chairs had welding goofs under the seats. Some tabs were welded upside down but this did not interfere with the assembly and cannot be seen unless you look under the seat. I did not see these on the display model at Sam's. This set is really nice for the money.
So far so good
Just bought it and put it together. So far very happy. We were told to keep an eye on the table tile for damage. Comes in 4 big boxes. The table is in one box. Two chairs packed in one box each. Total of three boxes and six chairs. Packed very well. Large truck required to bring it home unless you have it delivered. Had no damage and no missing parts. The table is very heavy. It won't blow over. You will need two people to unpack this and lift this table. The chairs feel good. They rock and swivel well. We will see how it holds up over time in the weather elements. So far a 5 star rating after day one.
Great set
This wasn't my first choice but my husband fell in love with it while doing our routine shopping at our local Sam's. We purchased the set a little over a month ago and I'm glad we did. It looks great on our new patio and is very comfortable. I love the lazy suzan on top! I wish we would have purchased the umbrella at the time we purchased the set but will be getting it soon. It is easy to clean and the cushions don't retain water (which is my favorite part). We use this nearly twice a day.
Extremely practical patio table
This is a versatile table with a round lazy Susan in the middle that is practical for multi use table items. What is nice also is that it remains functional when an umbrella is added. The six chairs fit nicely around the table, allowing ample room for each person. The rocking motion of the chairs make them very comfortable to sit in. In addition, the aluminum construction assures that there won't be any rust and the chairs and table should provide years of good use. We are very happy with the purchase and think it is a great value.
A Misery to Sit On
Yes, the price is great, but you get what you pay for. The seats are just plain uncomfortable. First, they are too deep, which means there is nothing to support your lower back (and I'm a 5'11" man) so it really needs to ship with a back cushion. Smaller people will not be happy since the lack of support will be even worse. Second, you can't really lean back in them. The springs metal is too stiff and without enough play so you can lean back maybe 2 to 3 inches and constantly fight it not be to snapped back into position. Third, all of the aluminum is thin and not particularly cast well. You're going to find that the round bottom the chair rests on is not exactly level so you'll wobble to one side or the other. On the plus side of this 'feature' you can put the low point away from where you normally want to face so as to lean back an inch or so more. Fourth, the chairs don't swivel very easily nor does the food rotating table. Perhaps a little WD40 will fix this, but I haven't tried it yet. Bottom line, if you've been around a decent set of patio furniture, you're going to kick yourself all the way to the bank for letting your budget get in the way of something you actually want to own.
Nice Set
The edge of the table on first set we got was damaged. After a fairly quick phone call a replacement set was on its way. The table is heavy and sturdy. The Lazy-Susan is a nice feature. I'm 6'3" and 300 pounds and the chairs fit me fine. I was worried that the tilting springs on the chairs might be too soft for my weight but they work just fine. Good value and quality. I would of liked to bought some extra chairs but I couldn't figure out how to get them as they are only sold as a set with the table. Assembly was quick and easy if you have real man tools and not just the little stamped metal tools that come with the table.
Nice Product
Was very impressed with the shipping company, as they were very cooperative as far as delivery date, and when it was delivered, the men took the heavy table to my back yard. The chairs are very comfortable but were a bit of a pain to put together. You certainly shouldn't rely on the tools that come with the set, as it would take forever to tighten things up. Get a ratchet and a socket and open end wrench (1/2 inch on mine).
So far so good
I haven't owned this for long, and write only to provide some recommendations with respect to assembly. It took me about 2-2.5 hours and wasn't overly complex. They recommend 4 people to assemble, which is perhaps a bit of an exaggeration, as I did it by myself. Two would be ideal, I think. I have two main recommendations: First, don't tighten the legs of the table to the circle all the way before attaching to the table, as the holes don't always line up perfectly. Once attached to the table, then tighten the legs to the circle under the table and all will fit fine. Second, and more importantly, use a socket set when assembling the chairs. They provide you with a couple of crude wrenches, but they work barely at all, and it would have taken significantly longer to assemble the chairs. With a socket set (0.5" socket) it was a snap. So far, looks very good and everything fit just fine, and no issues with missing pieces.
