Wish I would have waited for the newer version which was available just two weeks after I got this one. The newer version ($25 more) solves this problem. So yes I recommend the newer version at 40" and above.

I didn't realize that this item is couple of years old model and not the new model. The sound is ok considering the price but not as good as other 5.1 systems.

Granted, I got this on a black friday deal, but even at regular price this is great value. The sound quality is excellent and the cordless subwoofer makes it very easy to setup without having to mess with a bunch of speaker wires.

Subwoofer has power, bluetooth easy to connect to. Surround speaker sound is the only thing that keeps it from being great. I did find that after fine tuning in the menu the sound was considerably better. Still totally worth it.

Excellent sound, easy setup, wireless subwoofer and rear speakers flawless. Eliminating sound system remote and using TV remote another plus. Found nothing close to sound quality at double or triple the price.

I think this sound bar has a nice sound for the price. It would probably be even better if I could configure as they suggest with the subwoofer and remote speakers behind the seating area.

I'm very pleased and happy! ! The surround sound plus the wireless subwoofer is magnificent! No joke! This is my VERY first time posting a review for anything......so that should let you know......IT'S AWESOME!!!!

I am very happy about the purchase, the sound is great and the price is comfortable. If you want to have a sound of cinema in your home this sound bar you will like.

This surround sound system, is one of the best I have owned, and I have owned many. While it may lack the excellence of a much more expensive system, such a a Bose, for the value, it stacks up and above many within the same price range.

This was what I expected, from the description of the item. It was very easy to set up and has operated very well. The value was exceptional. I recommend this to anyone who is looking for a basic surround-sound system.
