I initially purchased this sound bar for my livingroom. Shortly after, I realized I would also need to purchase separate stands for the rear speakers. So, I decided to use it in my bedroom instead and put the rear speakers on my night stands. Problem solved...lol. The sound bar was easy to hook up to my tv, cell phone, and cable box. I like the screen on the remote but, it's useless at night because there's no back light. So you have to rely on the LEDs on the soundbar itself as you press buttons in the dark or turn on some lights. Not sure why Vizio didn't include a light up screen as an option. The subwoofer gives off a lot of bass and may need to be adjusted sometimes depending on what you're listening to. I love the auto input changes on this bar. If I switch from live tv to HDMI for streaming on Chromecast or gaming, the bar will automatically pick up the signal and switch inputs. No need to do it manually like with my other 2.1 Vizio Bar. One thing to note is you have to hook up each device separately using the connections provided in the box. For example; if you have a cable box connected to your tv, you have to connect the sound bar to your cable box in order to hear the audio. You will not get any sound from the bar if you connect it to the tv only when watching cable. Same applies for gaming systems/dvd players/etc. If you are using direct cable wire connection, a Chromecast or similar HDMI devices, then you would need a connection to the tv in order to hear the audio. I've had the soundbar for 8+ months now and haven't had any issues with it. I practically use it everyday instead of listening through the tv speakers. I definitely recommend.

Worked ok for a little over a year then just died. No power. No lights. Nothing. Contacted customer service and went through a few troubleshooting procedures but nothing worked. Not the best quality sound to start with and obviously has durability issues. I would recommend staying away from this item.

I'm hard of hearing and it's a great home theater system

Well it's not a Bose, Yamaha, etc. but it sounds pretty nice for the price! Very easy to set up and operate. Would definitely buy again!

Easy setup. I had a older system with all kinds of wires all over the place. Not any more! The sound is high quality!

You can use your TV controller but a little complacated. Sound fair but I haven't heard any sound bars that had good sound still better then TV speakers

Don't hesitate to buy this. Great for 42 inch tv in bedroom. This system has bigger speakers in bar and in satellite speakers than the newer Vizio surround sound systems. You won't be disappointed.

It didn't take long to setup all the cords where long enough to reach the outlets & tv. Sounds good to me I can tell a differenc in sound but the bass isn't all the best it could have more bass.

Sound is incredible and easy setup. Love it! Only complaint I have read is some people dont like the remote not being back lit. Personally Id rather have on tv display rather than on remote. Otherwise its awesome!

Bought it second hand but it works amazing. I love how it pairs with my Vizio TV as well so I can control the sound bar with my TV remote. Amazing sound, amazing product
