The square design is very modern and cool looking. I love the matte finish of the dinnerware. It looks very clean and crisp and I am so excited to replace my old dishes. My only complain is that there are a few imperfections in the finish on some of the pieces, and I am very careful with handling them to avoid breaking and/or scratching.

My only concern is that I'm afraid that they could chip based on the material being a heavy ceramic.
