I tried 2 different units and neither worked correctly. Dropped the temperature by 5 degrees at a time as instructed. Both units iced over around 40 degrees (temp raised to around 50 degrees). Kept a fan aimed directly at unit vents in 78 degree indoor room. This is a compressor type unit (should have cooled). Company swapped first unit out after trying many fixes. Customer service O.K product quality not so much. GOOD LUCK

So according to multiple thermometers the fridge temp varies from 35 at the bottom, to 45/46 one shelf below the top. This is with the controls set at 32. So overall I wish the fridge could keep things just a little bit cooler. It holds more and looks better than my previous mini fridge, but my previous fridge could keep everything ice cold. I had to sacrifice storage space to ensure that my beer bottles were lower in the fridge, so that it was my soda and wine being kept warmer. It keeps things cold enough, so not worth my time to return, but I would not purchase again.

I just called CS and they said nothing wrong, but that cannot be. A unit like this located within an AC space, should not run for hours at a time and only shut off for a few minutes. Since the manufactures "rep" says this is normal, I guess we will return it. At this point, unless it is fixed like the others that have had cooling issues, I would not recommend this to a friend! Anyone else have this issue?

Received with no problems, about 6 months ago it started not staying cold, I would adjust temperature back down and in a day would be back p to 56 degrees. The it started to ice up on the inside and temp would be back up to 56 degrees. Searching for a replacement.

VERY STYLISH! A little load when the compressor kicks on......and we had the same problem with the cooling. We called and got the new thermostat board and it was simple. Unfortunately.....there are so many people who have both this fridge and were unhappy, and didn't know to call in. I STRONGLY THINK SAM'S SHOULD PULL THIS MODEL FROM THE SHELVES. THIS PROBLEM IS TO COMMON. FOUR STARS SINCE WE HAD TO GO THROUGH THE REPAIR.

I had the fridge for nearly 90 days. I recognized how loud it was but I felt you get what you pay for so that was not surprising. However what I did not expect was the glass door to frost up causing the stainless steel to build condensation on the outside and drip on my floor. I was able to return it but the $20 extra for the warrant was non refundable so that was the only money I was out.

I've had this fridge for two years and nothing aside from some fog at one point, it works fine. I have the original that cools to 40� and I use it to store my beer only. Only if I don't finish a bottle of wine do I put it in here. My actual wine cooler (which I also purchased at Sam's) only allows bottles to lie down. One thing you all should know and that I found out the hard way is, if this fridge isn't full, then the temp will go up! This goes for any type of fridge. As I'm typing this review, I have 14 beers and the temp is 46� which will automatically adjust to a cooler setting once it's full. I had a professional install it because he built my bar and gave it the proper ventilation needed. So far I'm happy!

I have had this cooler for a little over 6 months. It's perfect for my back patio. It has worked very well to date. I have had to defrost it twice which is not an issue. The only problem I now have is that there is condensation between the 2 layers of glass. This detracts from the looks of the unit but more importantly may mean that the door is not insulating as well as it should. Overall I am happy with the unit, but I wish my unit did not have the door condensation issue. I would have given 5 stars to this unit in not for this issue.

Absolutely atrocious smell. It makes everything in the cooler smell and we cannot get rid of it. We have tried multiple baking soda containers, spraying down with vinegar several times, leaving the cooler open for extended periods, etc. Nothing works. So disappointed after reading previous reviews.

Bought this a few months ago, only a few issues. The handle on the door didn't include any screws, so I just used my own. I'm sure a small mistake on the warehouse. The condensation drain was plugged with foam which is used for insulation. Which caused a bit of ice around the drain, which caused condensation to drip out the front of the cooler onto my kitchen floor. I just dug out the foam, and seems to be working fine. I did install the new board for bringing the temp down to 33 degrees. Works a lot better now after tweeking a bit. Would purchase again.
