These Kellogg's Special K Strawberry Protein Bars had a weird grain like strawberry flavor and a really hard texture and yucky after taste. In no way though did they keep me full like i was expecting for a protein bar. Its been two months since i redeemed my coupon for a free box and i still have five out of the ten bars left...So that tells you...

They taste amazing and give me that pick me up that I need through my day, they are not filling in my mind, but they make a nice quick snack that gives you some energy if your feeling tired, a great source of protein in every bar! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great taste. Enough protein to keep you from getting hungry later if used as a breakfast bar, without too much protein to promote weight gain. I eat these frequently. The chocolate ones are delicious too. Sweet and yummy. No powdery aftertaste. Tastes like a chewy granola bar with a strawberry flavoring. Pretty sweet so if you have a sweet tooth it will satisfy that as well. Get your protein and sweets in after a workout or just a missed meal.

These are great to toss in my work bag and it did satisfy my hunger at work. I begin my workday early in the morning so I enjoy the fact that I can eat this bar on the go if I’m running late or while at work for my break. I’m always open to try new flavors, so I’d like to try the blueberry flavor next as I’m crazy about fruit flavors!
