I had this mattress for 80 days and it was so painful. I would wake up with a sore back and hips each morning. I followed all the advice for breaking in this mattress and it made no difference. I am still doing physical therapy to try and undo the harm to my back and hips. The description says it is cooling but that is not true. I would wake up in the middle of the night because it was too hot. I also bought 2 expensive Tempur-Pedic pillows thinking this would help, but turned out to be a waste of money. They are very heavy and don't provide any cooling benefit. I found another mattress brand that is much more comfortable, provides the needed support for my back and hips and is cooling.

This is a very nice mattress. My wife LOVES it. I only "like" it. It's my feeling that I'm too heavy for it. I get uncomfortable over time. I think it's because I sink thru the jell and am resting on the base layer. My wife is lighter and seems to float better. For the price (which is exorbitant), I would choose another model or firmness. Frankly, I've slept on WAY cheaper mattresses which were better suited for me. We have the middle-of-the-line adjustable base. It's very nice and works as advertised. If I had it to do over, I would have gone for the base model. The store automatically sold us this one without asking and we forgot while shopping. We thought about it later, but decided not to bother changing the order.

We could not be happier with the latest purchase of our mattress and pillows. I have always had back issues and no matter what mattress we purchased, none compare to the tempurpedic. It is so comfortable, we love the raised base and it's very cool while sleeping. Highly recommend it.

I'm a side sleeper, I was experiencing hip pain on our older Tempurpedic mattress. Thinking due to it's age, it was time for a new bed. I really wanted to try a complete different type of mattress, but my husband is real happy with Tempurpedic. So, to compromise I agreed to get the Tempur-LuxeAdapt Soft. We've had it now for over a month & I'm finding it's not much different than our original, in fact my legs are hurting off & on now while trying to sleep on this bed. I'm fine all day with my hip & legs, it just seems the bed isn't for my body.

This Tempur-Pedic LuxeAdapt is our second Tempur-Pedic mattress, and I'm absolutely sold. After over 14 years with our last mattress, we knew it was time for an upgrade, and while this one is a bit pricier, it's clear that a good night's sleep is truly priceless. The LuxeAdapt did take a few nights to adjust to after our old one finally wore out, but now, I can't imagine sleeping on anything else. It offers a level of comfort and support that's unmatched, and I'm confident this mattress will last us for another 14 years. If you're considering investing in quality sleep, this is absolutely worth it!

I suffer from chronic back pain from scoliosis which has progressively gotten worse over the last 30 years. My husband and I have tried different brand mattresses, but never Tempur-Pedic. Recently, we visited the Tempur-Pedic Flagship Store in Glendale, AZ and we are so thankful that we did. The customer service was exceptional. Jennifer Brown and Heather Bartels, the sales associates, were so knowledgeable explaining the differences in the mattresses that are available. They were so patient and did not try to influence or try to pressure us in any way. It took us two days before we made the decision to purchase a split king mattress with one Luxe Adapt (soft) and one Pro Adapt (medium) twin XL. The split king choice is definitely the best for us because of our different needs in mattresses and the split base gives us the freedom also to adjust our positions differently. After a month and a half, my husband felt he needed a softer mattress so he exchanged the medium firmness to a soft Pro-Adapt. Again, Heather was so helpful and the exchange was easy and hassle-free. My husband and I can truthfully say that our Tempur-Pedic mattresses are more comfortable than any other mattress we have ever had. Tempur-Pedic has so many different choices in high quality merchandise. Put together with Jennifer's and Heather's friendly personalities, knowledge and patience, our experience in the Tempur-Pedic Glendale Flagship store was enjoyable, educational and has greatly improved the quality of sleep that we experience each night.

This is our 2nd Tempur-pedic mattress, and it cost over 2x more than the last mattress, foundation & pillows. That said it is still mostly US made. I preferred the firmer original to this model's softer top layer, but it does seem to help my wife's hip and shoulder, and I am getting used to it. The first one didn't start to wear out until it was over 15 years old, and I hope this one lasts at least as long.

So far this has not been a purchase I'd repeat. The first few nights were unbearably hot. We changed over to cotton sheets and that helped a little. Keep in mind my house is usually around 65 degrees at night. I can't really tell if it is outgassing or allergies, but my eyes are beat red in the morning and my neck has been sore. My wife is worse being up for hours every night. I talked to Temperpedic customer service today and they told me to lean the mattress next to an open window. Their other option was to spend even more for a breeze model. After spending close to $5k already another brand is likely in my future.

My fiancé and I have been sleeping on our Tempur-Pedic Luxe Adapt for a couple months now and I can honestly say it is a complete game-changer for our sleep quality. I tend to be a restless sleeper and he gets up earlier for work than I do, so we used to constantly disturb each other's sleep. Not anymore thanks to this mattress. We both sleep better, longer and I now get woken up with a goodbye kiss instead of him getting out of bed! Can't recommend enough!
