I purchased this mattress from Big Sandy Superstore. They never told me that it was a "Floor Model". The sides were broken down, so it felt like we were falling out of bed all night. Tempur Pedic would not do anything about it because it was a "Floor Model".

We needed a new mattress last year as our TempurPedic that we had was near it's end. It was during the time where the bed in a box like Brooklyn Bedding were popular. Well a year later, and here I am. Had to chunk that mattress and went back to our brand. Never straying from this brand again!

We bought the queen Luxe Adapt Firm to replace a high end traditional coil spring mattress. My husband and I are 60, of average build, weight and height with minor shoulder, neck and back pain now and then. This mattress arrived on a freezing cold day and we were warned it would be rock hard from having been in a truck the night before perhaps and also as it is new. And it was indeed rock hard. However, it quickly warmed up in our house. I lay on it for a few minutes and felt the bed slowly envelop me in a perfect way. We have had it about a month and a half now and it has broken in just right and just enough. I can see how this may not be for everyone. My husband likes it very much whereas I woke up the first morning enthusiastically exclaiming to anyone who cared that I will never ever buy another kind of mattress. My small body aches are gone. Pressure point discomfort from my shoulders from side sleeping were absent. Even tummy sleeping, which neither of us do usually, when done, supports the belly enough, we think, so that it is not over ending the lower back nor pressing too much into the belly. Sleep is deep and restful. I was torn between this one and the Pro Adapt Medium. The Pro Adapt Medium was slightly softer. The Pro Adapt Firm was extremely Firm i.e. hard. And the Luxe Adapt Soft was too soft for our liking. The Luxe Adapt Firm is really more like a Medium Firm feel. So glad we purchased it. We anticipate it will last up to or hopefully over 10 years based on what we've read and heard. Also, we bought the Tempurpedic foundation as well.

We purchased the top of the line Purple bed and hated it immediately. It felt like my hips and legs were higher than my shoulders. I'm sure that wasn't the case exactly, but felt that way. The TEMPUR-LuxeAdapt Soft doesn't have the initial wow feeling when you lay on it, like a pillow top bed might have. However, it is the most comfortable bed we've owned so far. Give it a second or 2 and it feels perfect, the way it conforms to your body. I've had firm memory foam beds in the past from big and small brand names, however, I have broad shoulders and they would ultimately cause me pain after a week or so. The soft version of this bed appears to be exactly what a side sleeper like me needs. Oh and my wife, also a side sleeper, loves it too!

I love my new firm mattress. It meets all expectations. It is very comfortable I would definitely recommend the firm versus soft in this particular line. It's not excessively firm which is what I was afraid of when buying without trying it in a store at least. It has just enough give to it.

We were so excited to get our new Luxeadapt. It was so comfortable in the store. However the mattress ran so hot for me that I gave up after a few days of waking up over heated. For this reason, I had to return it. If you don't run hot, this is a great choice.

We have only had our luxeadapt for 3 weeks (our first tempurpedic ever ) I can honestly say it IS giving myself and my husband better sleep. His lower back does not hurt any longer. We owned an icomfort memory foam prior and let me tell you... you CAN feel the difference in memory foam. Well worth the amount of money we spent 110%! Sooo happy we purchased this model. It says firm but you just kind of sink slowly in to be cradled. We LOVE IT!!! To sleep better and have less pressure point pain and not have a hurting back!? Who doesn't want that?! First mattress in my life that I completely love. Buy it if you have lower back and pressure point issues , you will be happy and relieved. (We are back and side sleepers)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Where to start, softness, honestly with the softness level that I've noticed I would expect this mattress to be a medium firm not a soft. don't get me this is still a great mattress, just not very soft to me...and my body needs SOFT. That's the only major con for me with this mattress. It is very heavy but that's not really a con unless you have to move it solo. Now the PRO's gotta save the best for last. It does conform to your body pretty well, and it rebounds fast also. Movement really isn't felt across the mattress, I can not tell when there is movement on the other side from my side. I wouldn't be scared to try the egg test or water test on this mattress, that's how strongly I believe in this mattress in that regard. I can't do it though, a houseful of animals, so while the mattress wouldn't dump the water, the animal sure would. No waking or being awoken due to movement. I love this mattress in this regard. The mattress's design is attractive and very soft; you can sleep on it and be comfortable without sheets. In summary, this is an amazing mattress in many areas, really the other downfall for me is it's not soft enough, but my back is horribly messed up, so it may be just my opinion. Do I think it's worth the price, no not really. But if you can afford it and don't need a really soft mattress then this could be just the right mattress for you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our second TempurPedic mattress and we are very happy with the quality and feel of the TEMPUR-LuxeAdapt Firm mattress. The mattress is very supportive and comfortable. Years of back pain had me searching for a better mattress and TempurPedic was the answer. We ordered directly from the TempurPedic website and was very happy with the customer support we received. All my questions were answered thoroughly via the online chat and on the phone and the sales associate was very friendly and professional. I would like to mention that this mattress is higher than a traditional mattress and will effect the choice of foundation. A 9" traditional foundation with this mattress will be quite high. We opted for a 5" traditional foundation as our bedroom set is more traditional, and the height was just right. We will continue to purchase and recommend these wonderful mattress to our family and friends.

After 6 wonderful years with rhapsody luxe , we developed a bit of a divot on my side. Easy warrant process, however the bed we loved was no longer available. We were guided to this and recommended firm being the closet match. Six months later my wife and I both are having terrible hip and should pain as this bed is rock hard, and way too hot. I reached out to customer service hopefully to no avail. Stay away from this mattress.
