Excellent Product in general

Bought the firm because I was used to very firm conventional mattresses, but the firm on the all foam mattress is on a whole different level. I still have about a week to go before I can trade it in for the hybrid medium. I understand the 30 day try before change policy, but waiting these last few days is definitely disappointing.

Perfect for health professionals

Great mattress for the healthcare professional

My husband and I are both dentists. And back and neck pain are practically synonymous with our profession. We have gone through mattress after mattress before we found one that truly helped us and most importantly our bodies get the rest it deserves. We initially ordered the firm thinking that was the right fit for us, however we just couldn't get use to it. The staff at tempurpedic were so kind and allowed us to exchange it for the soft. They guarantee you'll love your mattress and they were right. The best week of sleep and thankfully our search for the perfect mattress has ended. Love love it!

The Best Sleep You'll Ever Get!

I got our LuxeAdapt a few weeks ago and could not be happier with our selection! Our old mattress was 10+ years ago so it was time for an update and my goodness - it has been a dream to sleep on! The amazing design allows me to fall asleep so much faster and for longer periods too. Even with my light sleeping habits, I hardly wake up to any movements from my husband's side with their motion canceling technology. I chose the firm option and wouldn't have it any other way. It gives me the firm support I need, but still molds to my body to alleviate those pressure points. Even my husband has been raving about how refreshed he feels in the morning thanks to our new LuxeAdapt. If you're thinking about investing in a Tempur-Pedic, do it! Our old mattress was also a Tempur so you know I'm a true fan of their brand and quality products. It'll be the best decision you make! *I was given this product in exchange for writing an honest review of my experience and opinion on the product and I LOVE IT!*

Heavenly soft

We love our new TEMPUR-LuxeAdapt Soft mattress. Pricey but worth it. No aches and pains! It's very plush but at the same time very supportive. It's exactly what we were looking for to replace our Simmons Comforpedic mattress with which had served us well for 8 years.

DOES NOT ABSORB MOVEMENT

We previously had a TempurPedic mattress that we purchased and loved for 15 years. When it was time to replace we originally tried another brand which we hated, so we paid the fee to return and came back to TempurPedic. We were assured that the Luxe Adapt Soft would cancel motion, but I can feel every move my husband makes on our king size mattress, which is very disappointing! The mattress also is not as soft as what we tried in the showroom. Our kids actually said it feels like a brick. I'm hoping that it feels this way because it's new. We paid so much money for the Ergo base and mattress, I'm hoping it becomes more comfortable but I know the motion issue is not going to improve. Very disappointed.

Soft and comfy

Needed a softer mattress to replace the firm one now that we are older. This does the trick but getting a sore shoulder sleeping on my side. Getting better with time. My wife had had no problems sleeping on her side. Very comfortable laying on my back.

Lasted 3 years

Do not buy from these criminals. They won't honor warranty. Called spoke with an escalation rep won't completely refused to let me talk to her supervisor. The quality of the product is good for a couple years AT BEST. The customer service is by far the worst I've ever encountered in any company. My wife and I wake up every day with neck and back pain because the rigidity is equivalent to a hammock. A 5,000 hammock. At the end of the day Temper Pedic WILL NOT honor 10 year warranty.

Improvement Over Prior Mattress

Before purchasing the Luxe Adapt Soft I had the basic Adapt Medium Hybrid. The new mattress is much better for my neck and back. I have had it for a month now and it is taking some time to get used to it because I have always had a firm all my life, which does provide better back support. Due to my age (77), and my being a side sleeper, the sales personnel recommended the soft.

Tempur-Luxe Adapt soft

Bought the split king. Love the way it keeps your body temperature just right and is very comfortable sleeping. Owned the cloud for years and loved it also. Just wanted a recliner bed for my husband. It is very hard to change the sheets for older people on the split king but I am getting use to it. Love the mattress.

Tempur-Lux Adapt "NOW I REMEMBER WHAT REM SLEEP WAS LIKE!"

Not one to write reviews but read several during my research of this mattresses and took them with a grain of salt. We have owned the original Tempur Pedic mattress (the one that came without different softness levels. You just ordered it by which size you wanted and I guess they just cut a slab of material). We had that mattress for years and after breaking it in from its rock hard state it became quite comfortable. As the years pasted (at least 15) I began to have problems with my shoulders as I sleep on my side. Finally decided to purchase a new mattress. My wife did not want to replace the one we had even though it was long over due as she said it was fine for her. We both had concerns that we may end up with an expensive mattress that was uncomfortable but my lack of sleep pushed me forward. I was about to purchase one of the existing Tempur mattress when a friend of mine told me wait a few weeks as they were releasing a new line. The Tempur Lux-Adapt. He said "Its a whole new animal". Taking his word i waited the 3-4 more weeks (guessed he should know as he was a manager at one of the local mattress stores) and said he tried them out at some show. When the beds arrived at our local furniture (didnt purchase the bed from my friend, sorry buddy) store they had the Lux-Adapt in firm and medium. Since our old Tempur mattress was firm and that was also what the Mrs liked I purchased that in a king size along with the Ergo-Extend base. Let me tell you the reviews were right. This mattress is prefect. I'll repeat what I read in other reviews that we really cant wait to get into bed. Its that comfortable. The Lux-Adapt in firm has just the right amout of compression. You conform to about 3-4 inches is my best guess and then you dont continue to sink further. I am six feet tall and weigh 175 pounds and my wife is small and weighs about 100-105 pounds. The bed is comfortable for both of us. she loves it and I constantly remind her that it was my idea! I am getting great REM sleep again after years of tossing and turning due to shoulder discomfort. Fantastic! The only down side some may find is that it sleeps a little warmer that our original tempur pedic. Probably due to the fact that it comforms better. The only other complaint I have is that I bought a second remote for the Ergo-Extend base only to find out you can only use one programmed remote at a time. This is something that needs to be resolved. A bed at this price point and size you should not have to be crawling to the other side to get the remote out from the bedside caddy. We have two TV remotes on each side of the bed just for this reason. Guess its some liability issue the attorneys told them about. Dont want the Mrs to ask you to get something from under the bed that she dropped only to have her lower it down on you! LOL. Seriously this is a software issue and can surely be fixed. Doing so will make the base more easily usable. Not everyone gets in bed at the same time and dont want to have to hunt for remotes. All and all only minor complaints. Literally loving the bed and the great comfortable sleep we're getting. So glad we made the change and glad I took my friends advice and waited for these new mattresses to arrive. If you are considering a memory foam mattress you have to try out a Tempur Pedic, yes they are costly but they last. Considering how much good night's sleep worth and the length of time we spend in bed annually it can be money well spent.
