Seriously whoever comes up with these games deserves a raise! This is a mix of games freeze tag and dodgeball but with game cards! That’s the best way that I can describe it. We even played this with a 5 year old. Everyone had a blast playing this. Game time is about 30 minutes. Perfect for adults and drinks game night. Oh and don’t worry about the avocado it’s soft and squishy so it’s hard to get hurt. Only downside is the price at Walmart yikes!

We just used the avocado to throw it or sometimes used it like tag playing by using the avocado to tag you. Still fun tho

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Throw throw avocado is an okay game...my kids had a really hard time getting into it. The only part they had fun with was throwing the avocado around. It was a bit confusing for me to follow. But as an overall game it was just eh!

I decided to take this out during a family get together with kids and it was a blast. This is not like the typical board games but involves more physical activity and involvement. It took us some time to understand the rules and how to play, but once past that stage, it's a lot of fun.

First of all, there are two avocados that, like the name suggests, you get to throw at other players during the game. I haven’t laughed so hard in a long time! The avocados are made of soft, spongy material so that nobody gets hurt. It is a fun family game, with ages 7 being able to play. The game is simple and straightforward and not too convoluted with rules, like some family games are. At the same time, little variants create an exciting and competitive atmosphere that keeps the game from becoming too mundane. The game doesn’t require a lot of players, even just two people could play. The avocado battles allow dodging and ducking in a similar manner to dodgeball or snowball fights. I like that the game only has two avocados. Any more than two, and it might turn too chaotic. For added fun, it could be combined with Throw Throw Burrito to create a hybrid game. Overall, it was a fun game for all ages. A word of warning, from personal experience, with all the throwing don’t have drinks on the table! Otherwise, throw throw avocado.

This game is insanely fun! My family and I like to compete against one another during our game nights but being able to chuck avocados at one another made this one of the top five games we’ve played! Easy to understand and absolutely hilarious; this definitely needs to be added to everyone’s game night rotation!

Mine however, cannot, and I should have known better than to involve them in a game where throwing things at the opponent is expected. Very fun and fast paced, until somebody goes overboard and slams a squishy avocado right in her over-reactive little brother's face. Drama ensues. Wine is consumed. Overall a good time.
