I'm a huge fan of Energizer's 2k Light Bulb Socket Security Camera kit. As a work from home parent, I was looking for a cost effective solution to have eyes on my family from every angle and room. Not a huge tech person and I was able to install & connect to the app within minutes. The accessibility is fantastic with easy maneuvering in the app, super clear video (night options, too) & my favorite 2 way audio to chat with my family. The energizer 3k socket cameras are great for renters and home owners. They allow you to have access to a wire free, wifi only security system. No drilling of holes, super easy to install, and has its own app for easy access. These cameras have been working great, and I will for sure be recommending to friends and family.

I was looking for an easy way to upgrade our home security without drilling holes or dealing with complicated installation—and this Energizer 2K Light Bulb Security Camera was perfect. It literally screws in like a light bulb, connects quickly through the app, and the video quality is super clear (2K HD really makes a difference). I love that it came in a 3-pack so I could cover multiple entry points around my house. The motion detection works great, even at night thanks to the built-in night vision. The socket extension was also super handy for one of our recessed fixtures. Overall, this was a smart, affordable upgrade. Highly recommend if you want a no-stress setup and solid coverage!

Some one was able to come in and turn the camera around a different direction can you tell me how did that happen can anyone connect to my camera ? and things was missing

Took a while to get this up and running. Set up would flash the QR code for the camera on my phone which was not helpful and it took a couple of attempts to get it to connect to my WIFI. Box states IP54 resistant and manual states it is not waterproof and must be in a covered light fixture. Not giving it high hopes of it lasting outside but time will tell.

I’ve only had this camera set up for about an hour, so this is just an initial impression. The quick start guide was easy to follow, but some parts were outdated or confusing. It listed a reset tool in the box, but after searching for it, I realized there isn’t one since each camera has a built-in reset button. Step 4 said that once the camera was added, I should jump to step 7. The issue is step 4 had already completed the setup automatically, while step 7 was for manual setup using a QR code, which I didn’t need. There also doesn’t seem to be a full manual on the website explaining features beyond setup. The live view is clear when still, but motion captures are blurry. I also had trouble adding one camera until I used the extension, which forced a lower placement than I wanted. Overall, too early for a full review, but these are my first impressions.

It is incredibly difficult to get the camera to pair, and when you're told to delete the app and reinstall it, the app available is not the same as the original. So when you try the use the new app they offer, it will not allow you to pair the device. It says you can't pair it because your WiFi is paired the the app account you deleted. So then it tells you to unbind the WiFi from the original account you set up withe the first app, even though it is technically the same account and password. Aaaarrrgh!!!! SO MUCH TIME AND DIFFICULTY WITH NO SUPPORT AVAILABLE

Does not connect to 5G, must have 2.4G to connect. We purchased this to replace the 2.4G version when our new wi-fi router was installed and have not been able to get it to connect despite multiple calls to customer service and following their instructions. New routers do not have separate 2.4G and 5G signals therefore this will not connect to it. It's too late to return it, so this is a warning to others considering it.
