Love the unit in general. A few items I would like to see changed. How to turn off the beep sounds when the pot is finished. Allow the use of the "Bold" feature when programming a pot to be brewed with the timer and the pod settings. The pod water temp needs to be hotter. Otherwise, the unit works very well and makes a delicious pot of coffee.

Got off to a bad start but now I love it. It seems folks have had an issue with the single serve side not working. No POD light when the POD button pressed. A google search showed a quick fix. I interpreted this problem as a sticky pod sensor switch right under the pod lid. I had that problem right out of the box. Did the 'fix' and all was good. It did it a day later and I did the 'fix' again. Since tht it's been working fine great.

I returned this product after only two days. On both occasions that I used it, coffee overflowed the basket holding the grounds, despite the fact that I only used coarse grounds and was brewing less than a full pot of coffee (10 cups, not the full capacity of 12). I was very surprised because I have had and loved a Cuisinart drip coffee maker for the past 12 years which finally died. I decided to decipher why this model was such a problem and found two reasons, both involving the brew basket. First, the new model has a smaller basket. It’s shaped exactly the same but is noticeably smaller. Second, and more importantly, the flow rate of liquid from the basket to the carafe was much, much slower than that of the old model. I didn’t calculate the exact difference, but in a manual, side-by-side test liquid went through the old model at a rate at least 25% faster than the new one. No wonder that coffee overflowed the basket during the brewing process. There was nothing broken on the new basket (the spring mechanism worked just fine); it was just poorly engineered.

Purchased this coffee maker for the features, the ability to single serve or use the carafe because we have purchased two other coffee makers from Cuisinart in the past with excellent results. Unfortunately, this model did not work right out of the box, issues with the controls & buttons, they did not work properly even when following the instructions in the manual. The single serve side would not work at all. Promptly returned it after reading about others having same issue. Where is the Quality Control, obviously Cuisinart has a problem with this model.

Purchased this coffee maker $160.00, on 2/5/2025, today is March 30, 2025 and the pot will not turn on. What a big disappointment. This coffee pot had every feature i wanted, bold, auto on/off, tempature control, 12 cup, k-cup or caraffe, easy easy easy set up. To only get 7 weeks of great coffee IS NOT WORTH THE PRICE! Buyer beware, if you do buy it? purchase the warenty for the extra couple bucks.

I think this machine is not only stylish but also very versatile and effective. It brews coffee at the perfect temperature. It also has great variation in the number of ounces for individual drinks and the design allows for almost any sized cup. This product exemplifies why Cuisinart has such a great reputation. I highly recommend this unit!

We received this as a warranty replacement when our model SS-15 began leaking water. Since then, everything has worked perfectly. We had to adjust the # of scoops to get our preferred strength but that was it! Just wish that the carafe reservoir was easier to fill without needing a small funnel.

While this coffee maker works there are some things I would change: 1) It does not measure out the water for a pot of coffee. When making a carafe you fill the water tank with the amount of water you want made. I would expect more from this price point. (Ex program an 8 cup pot of coffee) 2) there is a LOUD LOUD beep when the programmed coffee is finished and it wakes up everyone (especially babies and small children) when your morning programmed coffee is made. WHY!?!?

I needed to replace my old Cuisinart coffeemaker and I thought I would try a different brand. I wanted one that used a pod or a pot so I went with a Braun. Immediately I knew I didn’t like it but made myself give it a try. It didn’t get the coffee hot enough, it was hard to operate I just hated it. So I returned it and ordered a Cuisinart 2 in1 off the website. Got it in a timely manner, plugged it in, ran some water through it and made coffee. It was fantastic. The coffee is hot. It makes a pot in no time and it’s easy to operate. The pod side works great and is good for a one cup option which I need sometimes. I drink full strength coffee and my hubby drinks decaf light. I can’t rave about this coffeemaker maker enough. I have to have HOT coffee. My family makes fun of me because after I out cream I I put my cup in the microwave to heat it up! This baby gets coffee hot. The only criticism I would have is that it would be nice if the water reservoir was removable to make filling easier. I can’t seem to pour water without dripping it everywhere. It’s a minor inconvenience though. Great job Cuisinart.

I would have have given this 5 stars but, when making a pot of coffee in the timer mode, you can't use the BOLD option when brewing the coffee. I have only had this for about 3 weeks so time will tell how long until it has issues as some of the other people have reviewed.
