A Big Flat Flop

I love Cuisinart coffee makers for their ease of use and great tasting coffee. However, this one is a flop for me. When you poor the water into the carafe side, it leaks down onto the heating plate. (It will eventually rust like my last two Cuisinart coffee makers did.) I emailed the company several times about this. Then the pod side did not work correctly. It pierced a large hole in the top of the pod so that all the grounds made a huge mess everywhere and you could not drink the coffee. I tried several times and cleaned up several messes. I finally called Cuisinart and they gave me a few pointers but it still did not work. So they told me to return it. A sad Christmas gift and a big disapponitment. I wanted to offer my guests a choice.

Single serve needs help

The carafe is great! I like that I can choose to go bold and the heat level for the warmer. However the single serve doesn't get hot enough for me. It will brew the single cup hot but the cup does not stay hot for long even when I warm my cup. If you like to have a leisurely cup of coffee, use the carafe.

Avoid. It’s a headache.

Disappointed. This is my second two in one machine from Cuisinart. The first one had a stainless steel pit, but function rather well. What I didn’t like about that one, is that the coffee didn’t stay hot enough for me. When I saw this redesign model with a glass pot, I thought great! This one will stay hotter. So I bought it, just before Thanksgiving, knowing that people would want a single cup of coffee to go with their pie. However, the daycare and the single cup side did not work. Would not turn on at all, so I returned it and exchanged it for the same one. The new one seems to work OK, but it has alerted me to clean it twice and I’ve only had it for like two weeks? It’s also impossible to fill the reservoir for the pot side without dumping water everywhere. Again, I reiterate with a brand that should be trusted, like Cuisinart, and the price point on this machine, these are little things. I hope they consider for their next redesign.

Great coffee maker!!! I like my coffee strong. My wife not so much. I use the single cup side while my wife can make a carafe of her own. Haven’t used the iced coffee feature as we are experiencing extreme cold temperatures. Can’t wait to try it this summer.

Think twice....

We were very excited about this combined unit. It was replacing a 10+ year old Cuisinart that my wife took to work because it was still working. I am sad to say we have been extremely disappointed with the Pod side of the unit. It has blown out so many Pods that we only use the refillable Pod. I have not figured out why it is doing this.

Easy GREAT Brews

We received this as a warranty replacement when our model SS-15 began leaking water. Since then, everything has worked perfectly. We had to adjust the # of scoops to get our preferred strength but that was it! Just wish that the carafe reservoir was easier to fill without needing a small funnel.

Had to return both of the Coffee Center 2 in 1 coffee makers. On both of them the K pod button/function did not work. I followed the setup instructions to the letter, tried resetting, nothing worked. Sorry to say but quality control seems to be a big problem with this model.
