Wish I had it sooner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this product for a month now and really love it. It's very easy to use and takes little space compared to having two separate machines on my countertop: one for a pot and another for when you'd want only one cup. It's very attractive and easy to clean.

Great 2 in 1 coffee maker !

This coffeemaker is a nice upgrade over my older 2 in 1 Cusinart. It’s much easier to pour water into than the older model and I love the choices of Pod sizes. It seems to be a quality well built machine and the carafe stays nice and hot and “just right”. It looks great on my counter and I wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend this machine if you’re looking for a good quality 2 in 1 coffee brewer ! Great job Cusinart !!

Disappointed

I’ve had to return one because the clean light would go off. Additionally, the k cup side has no sharp in to penetrate the lid, rather is has a large semi blunt foil cutter. It’s very hard to close the lid and penetrate the pod. This is the worst cuisinart coffeemaker I’ve owned and I’ve had at least a dozen over the years. It’s a shame.

Not impressed

I would return it if I could! The first one was defective. Once replaced, I’m not impressed as it seems cheap and not Cuisinart quality. The coffee maker brews slow, is loud, and leaks water from the bottom at times. The seal on the carafe isn’t the best and leaks when pouring from the carafe to a coffee mug. Again, if I could change it for another model I would. The last Cuisinart I had was great for 10 years plus

Love this coffee maker!!

I absolutely love this new coffee maker. It takes up less space than my previous coffee maker and Keurig. It’s a pretty white instead of black so matches my kitchen better. It works really well and coffee is hot! I feel the single serve cover locks down better than my Keurig so coffee pod is used better.

Just ok. Not impressed.

We purchased this machine just a few weeks ago, so far it works as it should. This is not to say there aren't any design flaws. So far there are 6 things that I definitely do not like. We use both grounds and cups and decided to try this unit. 1st. For grounds and caraffe brewing. The resavor is located in the top/back and not very large or wide. It's extremely easy to have water splash when filling. The charcoal filter holder sticks up and takes away even more room. 2nd. The design of the pitcher is just bad. The bulbous body of the pitcher and the pour spout makes it extremely difficult to pour out all the water or coffee completely without bending your wrist well past a 45 degree angle. Trust me, that's not easy. And it makes It even harder trying to fill the resevour in the small area they provide.. Did anybody actually try this and then think it was a good idea? 3rd. The lid of the caraffe DOES NOT just flip open for easy fill or rinsing. You need to remove it completely and snap it back in place near the handle. I can definitely see the plasric connection breaking at some point causing an unsecurred lid. 4. We use the triangular paper filters and when making more than 5 cups, the water fills so quickly that the coffee doesn't have time to drain and it floats the grounds up and over the top of the filter. They then find their way into the coffee and/or the area of the machine that holds the filter basket. The only way to avoid this is to use the "Bold" brew setting. I guess that slows the water. Once the brewing starts, you cannot activate the "Bold" setting. It must be done first. This is not mentioned in the manual. Again, did anybody even test this before approving the design? 5. If you've brewed a pot of coffee and someone wants to use a pod, they press the "Pod" button. But doing this turns off the heating element under the "Carafe" and the coffee in the carafe will go cold. We found this out the hard way. 6. There is a lighted clock. But the light DOES NOT stay on all the time. It goes black after and hour or so and only relights when you touch a button. Why did they do this? To summerize. We're still undecided whether or not to return this machine.1 or 2 inconveniences is ok, nothings perfect, but I just don't believe enough thought was put into the design. .

Cuisinart Coffee Center..Awesome!

Love this coffee maker! Everything you need in one package! I use the single serve every day, but nice to know if I have company I don’t have to drag out another coffee pot. I love the size options for the single serve side and the option to use a reusable pod with my own coffee. I haven’t used the pot yet but I love that it can be programmed so I can set it up long before company comes. Great product!

Proud to own the best machine model 16 that is out

Very easy to use between how many ounces you want I swear it heats up quicker than a Keurig in the morning which is very important and it looks like a sophisticated piece of machinery on your kitchen counter. It just blends with every type of decoration we have the new 16 model And the color is royal blue. I’m definitely sticking with Cuisinart now. Nothing can top it.

Very Good Coffee Maker

I like the machine quite a bit. However, the cup water reservoir requires you to fill it up when there is still 1/3 of the water left and doesn't let you know until you've realized your cup is empty. The "over ice" feature was something I used on other manufacture's machines. This one does not do it well - the water is just as hot as when making a regular cup. The machine is beautiful, makes a pot of coffee pretty quickly. I do recommend.

Great coffee…lame controls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Makes perfect pod and pot coffee. My only deduct is for the non-intuitive controls. The cup size selector should have a dial with specific size detents and clicks. I only make 10oz coffee. So why should I need to press the selector to switch out of the default 8 oz into 10oz. Add a dial with various oz settings.
