It cleans as well as any other Cascade product but leaves behind caffeine stains ( just like every other product), which is amazing considering the pattern on all my dishware is now fading. Yes, it is dishwasher safe. Yes, it is modern dishware and from a a well-known and very common manufacturer. I won't be repurchasing this product and after dealing with customer service, I would be hard-pressed to continue to use Cascade products ever again.

I bought a couple of different brands and received a free sample of the Cascade Platinum Plus. They all washed the dishes but the Cascade cleaned the dishes and left my dish washer smelling good. They clean tough, stuck-on food without any need to pre-rinse, and my dishes come out sparkling every time. It is great to degrease those pots and small pans I throw in the dishwasher. It has 2x the scrub power. Its made for people like me. I am amazed how spot free my dishes turn out in my town that has hard water. I used it on glassware before hosting a dinner and the glassware didnot need anything else.
