This is one of the best coffee machines that we have ever used. It makes hot coffee and in addition to that we use the hot water side everyday. I often have a cup of tea or a latte out of one of the pods that the machine will accept. The water is around 200° both for the coffee when freshly brewed and for the water that goes through the pod. That is a very good temperature for getting the best flavor out of your coffee beans. The buttons are easy enough to use and seem to work well. I can see us using this coffee machine for many years to come. I've been using Cuisinart machines for the past 25 years and so far this is my favorite one.

The only complaint I have is that the opening on the left side is not high enough to allow my insulated tumblers to be used. (I often make iced tea with these tumblers which are 7" tall. They fit ok in the old Cuisinart. I have a few other tumblers that fit in if I remove the bottom pieces. These tumblers are 6.5" tall but smaller in diameter.)

This coffee maker is replacing our second Keurig that has quit working. It's really nice to wake up to a pot of fresh brewed coffee. I'm also very happy that the K-Cup option makes a hot cup of coffee, much better than the Keurig did for us. Love the bold option as well.

It nice to have both options, and it safes counter space. The carafe side works fine - it works similar to the the older model that I had....The pod side is a little bit more finicky...Initially, I had trouble with it punching a good hole...but I discovered that there were protective rubber cover on the pins. Once I removed the protective cover, it worked fine (the manual doesn't indicate the rubber should be removed). When you place the reservoir back after filling, it needs to be perfectly aligned, or it doesn't work. I also wish the reservoir was larger...but I guess the reservoir size was sacrifice in order to combine it. So far, I would buy this product again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my first Cuisinart 2 in 1 in October and had trouble with the pod portion in June so returned it for the same model. I have had the replacement for a few weeks and have already had trouble again with the pod portion. I occasionally have a cupful of grounds. It’s not every day but I can’t figure out what the problem is. Pretty disappointing!

This coffeemaker is a nice upgrade over my older 2 in 1 Cusinart. It’s much easier to pour water into than the older model and I love the choices of Pod sizes. It seems to be a quality well built machine and the carafe stays nice and hot and “just right”. It looks great on my counter and I wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend this machine if you’re looking for a good quality 2 in 1 coffee brewer ! Great job Cusinart !!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great coffe maker with many options and very intuative operation. One issue - I use a 20oz Yeti everyday and the single brew side will not brew directly into the yeti surprised I had to develope a work around for this shortcoming. Even with that I elected to keep the unit and have really enjoyed it.

I used it to make K cups and a whole pot of coffee. The K Cup holder/dispenser would not stay open while loading the K Cup. It would slowly slide down not leaving enough room to place the K Cup in the dispenser without manually pushing it open and holding it open to load the K Cup. It was quit noisy through the process. The drip coffee maker on the hand was slow but did make a great pot of coffee. The temperature was very hot and the hot plate stayed on the full 4 hours (unless adjusting it for less) and kept the coffee hot the entire time. Water seemed to leak a little on the single cup side. The machine as a whole did not feel as heavy or sturdy as other Cuisinart machines I have owned. I am returning it and looking for another.

We bought the Cuisinart coffee maker because of the previous products that we purchased and have enjoyed. The pot side of the coffee maker is working properly but the singe cup has not worked correctly since we purchased it. We contacted Cuisinart and they gave us steps to take correct the problem, but nothing has worked. This started from day one and at this time it still does not work correctly on the K-cup side of the coffee maker.

I've been a fan of Cuisinart products for a long time. I have always found them to be innovative and reliable. I've have found the 2in1 coffee maker to not disappoint! Looking forward to many good cups of coffee using both the carafe and pod option.
