Complicated set up

Great looking coffee center but the set up was difficult. The pod feature wouldn’t work. After reading several negative reviews and watching a you tube video which described how other users got it to work, we were able to get it functioning. The rubber cover over the switch in the pod section was stuck preventing from brewing. Way to complicated and and apparently a common problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Always buy cuisinart products! This is my 3rd one, tried others coffeemakers but coffee isn’t as hot and tasty as this coffeemaker produces!!! Product seems to only last maybe 3 years but we use it everyday. Also love the convenience of using the single cup feature!!!

So far it's been great! Makes a great cup of coffee in the carafe and the pod function works better than my old Keurig; it's especially easy to refill the water reservoir using the internal handle. If its reliable for a few years, it will have been a perfect purchase for me.

Starting leaking in the first month.

Bought on Prime Day and thought it was a good deal, until about a month later when it started leaking water all over the counter if I fill the k-cup reservoir. Emailed the company and they suggested I descale a brand new unit… Other than the fact that it leaks, it works fine, and I like the design I just wish I could use it as designed. Hopefully customer service will do something helpful soon.

Great except for the “iced coffee” function

Love that it is compact- love the dual pot and single serve. The ice coffee function makes no sense as it basically gives you hot coffee over melted ice cubes and the bottom burner stays hot for the coffee pot version. So you end with extremely watered down warm “iced coffee”.

Extremely disappointed. Not worth the money

Must take pot lid off completely to place water in pot. No hinged opening?! Does not offer keep warm feature… only brew. Not user friendly at all. A simple warming feature for pot would be helpful. Need to work on design features. For the price of this coffee maker and with this brand name… I expected better. I presented as a gift to group and this has left me embarrassed and looking like I just bought a cheap coffee maker… which it was NOT!

Love the option of making a single cup if I am rushing out the door or if I need an afternoon pick me up! Otherwise, making a pot of coffee for when I have company or when my husband and I have a lazy morning and have time for more than one cup is so convenient! It is also nice.to be able to brew different flavors, tea, or caffeinated/ decaffeinated coffee if someone wants something different. LOVE my coffee maker!

It worked for a very short period and then stopped

We made 3 pots of coffee and 4 single cups and then the coffee maker stopped working. The lights would light, we carefully went over the manual, we went online looking for troubleshooting guidance...no matter what we could never get the coffee maker to work again.

Cuisinart I'm disappointed

I expected exceptional quality from Cuisinart. I was disappointed. The k-pod side was defective. The plastic needle is not sharp enough to puncture the pod. Exploding pods! Big mess! The special paper filters overflow very easily putting coffee grounds in the carafe. Every coffee maker I have ever owned had a hinged lid on the carafe. The carafe lid has to be completely removed to fill with water. By the way, the carafe drips down the side if you don't pour very slowly. I liked the bold setting and I like to program the start time. Unfortunately you cannot use the bold setting while using programmed start. This was an immediate deal breaker for me. I bought the coffee maker on Friday and returned it to the store on Sunday.
