the item wasn't functioning correctly. used it for a general high-use day and the warmer apparently got too hot and fell down into the machine. also, the unit did not brew and pour as it should and the units finish is very easily susceptible to scratching and blemishes. wiping it off coming out of the box left small micro scratches and it dulled the shine. I think they're on the right track with these set-ups but I think durability and longevity may poise a problem for such a pricy unit.

We received this as a Christmas present and so far are really enjoying it. We love the versatility of being able to do individual servings of coffee, hot cocoa, or tea easily and that you can have different brew sizes (4,6, 8, or 10 ounces) AND that you can also brew a full pot with up to 12 cups if younhave a crowd...not to mention the flavor of the coffee seems enhanced. Perhaps because of the internal filtration. We have not tried the iced coffee options yet but are loving it so far!

This is our second try. Returned first one for exact same problem. It keeps overflowing grounds no matter how clean we try to get it. Otherwise I would absolutely love this machine. It's nice to have our cup of caffeine coffee from the carafe first thing in the morning and then later on in the day have a cup of decaf from Keurig.. wish the company could figure out a way to keep grounds from overflowing and stopping up the machine and getting a pot of mostly grounds.

This machine leaks terribly! The K cup reservoir leaked all over my counter, the carafe lid doesn't just flip open to add water, you have to yank it off by the spout, and to top it off when I poor a cup of coffee, coffee leaks from the spout all over the counter. I really thought I was buying a beautiful appliance, but nothing works right. I'm going to figure out how to return it and switch back to my stored Hamilton Beach!!!!!

Most importantly, the coffee tastes terrific! It's compact enough to fit under cabinets, and still use the single side without moving the unit. When it has to be moved to make a pot, it slides easily. The buttons are simple to use and make sense. The 12oz option on the single cup is nice, and it brews quickly. Great coffee maker. Second most important, my wife likes the looks of it.

We previously had a Cuisinart coffeemaker with the built-in coffee grinder. It worked great until it started to leak. We saw the reviews for the SS-16, 2-in-1 model because we also had an Keurig that was taking up counter space and thought the 2-in-1 configuration would fit our needs better. Just in case, we also ordered an operator Keurig, but it arrived a couple of days later and we returned it. The reviews we read before we bought we not very flattering, but our Cuisinart is working perfectly. We have only had it for about a month. Based on our experience with it so far, I would probably update my rating to 5 stars.

I love everthing about this duo coffee maker except the separate water reservoirs. I would have given 5 stars if it had 1 reservoir for both coffee makers. Its a little taller than my old keurig duo which makes it a little harder to fill coffee side due to machine inside a coffee bar cabinet. What really makes this stand out above the keurig in my opinion, the controls are on the front not the top and the coffee pot does not leak no matter how fast you pour into cup. Keurig coffee leaks a lot when you try to pour too fast.

Makes a good pot of coffee but the single serve not so much. Had problems getting it to work initially and the fix was no where to be found until Owen to YouTube and found other customers with the same issue. It was an easy fix but I spent an hour trying to figure it out myself. I love most Cuisinart items but this product is not their best. Again, it makes a good pot but the single serve pod doesn’t compare to a keurig. Also I think it’s cheaply made but most are!

Don't like that it has separate water tanks for the pod and the carafe on each side of the machine. One or the other will be against the wall. Only one is removable, so I had to rearrange my entire kitchen to make it manageable. Also, I wish you could fill the carafe tank and just set how many cups to make-no, it only makes the ENTIRE tank every time.

My new Cuisinart 2 in 1 coffeemaker is exactly what I wanted for my kitchen. The carafe allows coffee to be made fast & comes out hot when more than one cup is called for. The single cup maker is perfect for that “ pick me up” later in the day. The Cuisinart brand is fairly priced and is known to be a quality product. I couldn't be happier with my new purchase!
