Crispy
The Angus Bacon cooked up nice and crisp. The color and texture were appealing and it had a nice crunch to the bite. The taste was plain and flat for me. I wouldn't eat it by itself. I think it would make a great add in for some recipes. I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review.

Not like real bacon
I was interested in trying this bacon when I saw it is made from brisket. I have never had brisket, let alone brisket bacon, so I didn't know what to expect. I usually buy turkey bacon to cook at home, though I do sometimes get real pork bacon at restaurants, so my comparisons to pork bacon might be a bit fuzzy. The package was not an easy one to get into, compared to the kind where the top and bottom layers of plastic can be pulled apart. I had to get the kitchen scissors greasy, cutting the package right along the edge of the first bacon slice. Speaking of greasy, the package says this bacon has 50% less fat than pork bacon, but it still seemed to produce a lot of grease. You can see through the package that there is pepper and other spices or seasonings, presumably what's used on actual brisket. I thought it might be a bit much for me, since I'mkind of picky and don't like too much spice, but it was mostly tolerable. Trying to remove the bacon from the package, the first slice tore apart. I was more careful with the second, but it got a hole in it. Turkey bacon doesn't do that, and I don't think pork does either, so it must be due to its being "chopped and formed," according to the package. The bacon smells like a seasoned burger cooking. I wasn't sure how long to cook it without a meat thermometer, since it maintains a red/purple color, so I overcooked it a bit. Eating it was a little weird for me, since it has the texture and mouthfeel of bacon, but tastes like beef. It's not bad, but I will stick with turkey bacon, which I know my picky son will eat (the visible spices would almost certainly cause him to refuse it) and it's also less expensive. Great tasting and healthier than regular bacon
I'm not sure that I've ever had beef bacon, so I wasn't sure how it would taste, but the flavor was actually pretty good. I liked that it was quick and easy to cook. It also seems to have less fat than regular pork bacon, so maybe it's a healthier option. It's also nitrate free. I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review.
Excellent
This is the first time I had actually tried beef bacon. I am a huge fan of turkey bacon as I can't eat pork, so I was excited to see how this tasted. It exceeded my expectations. It tasted amazing. It was flavorful but not too salty. It wasn't too fatty either and there wasn't loads of grease after cooking. I would definitely recommend. This was delicious!
I went in looking for bacon, and found this in another area entirely. I saw the product in store and I was intrigued by it. So I made my purchase and brought it home. When I opened the package, the scent of the spiced bacon edge filled the air. It smelled so good. I started looking over the packaging to see if I could eat it like jerky. It's raw though. So that wasn't an option despite the temptation being very present. So I had to cook it first. It looks different than pork bacon. There isn't a separation of fat and meat, like there is in pork bacon. I initially planned to serve up eggs and Godshall's bacon, but the scent won me over. It's probably good with eggs, and I'm sure I'll find out soon, but that just seemed to basic for this. So ai started visualizing different food combinations and recipes, and I was torn between making something similar to a sushi tower (with the bacon wrapped around rice and veggies) because that would look amazing. or fried rice. I couldn't shape the tower correctly. So it became fried rice. This bacon was delicious. I used the little bit of grease that was in the pan to sauté the cauliflower and rice. It didn't need any sauce or other seasoning at all, and I like seasonings and spices. So that's saying something. The price is also affordable, especially for the serving size. I will definitely be purchasing this item in the future. I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review.
Taste deliciously
This is the first time I have a chance to try out this bacon brand and I really love it. It tastes deliciously. Each piece is full of flavor. It has peppers and chili so it tastes a little spicy. I love spicy but my oldest daughter doesn't so she can feel the heat right away. But we all love it. It's very crispy and go perfectly with hamburgers. Definitely will buy it again. NOM!
Godshall's Angus Beef Bacon is a yummy alternative for people who may not be able to enjoy pork or would like an alternative to pork products(I saw their turkey version as well). Nice and smoky, this bacon would be good in a breakfast burrito or sandwich, added into a salad for protein and taste, or served in most applications you would use pork bacon. I made mine in the air fryer and it came out perfect, the texture is like a lighter corned beef or pastrami. My only dislike is that it is delicate and that makes it a little difficult to get it out of the package. I can't wait to put it in my next sandwhich, its mouth watering and tasty! Not Pork
I was really excited to try this beef bacon especially since it's not pork. When frying it up it's more of a Turkey bacon consistency. It has a slightly sweet beef jerky flavor to me. It's lower in fat and calories than bacon and if you don't eat pork it's a great alternative. *I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review .*
