I want sure what to expect of beef bacon. was it going to attempt to be the same as pork bacon or something else entirely? I plan fried the way I would regular bacon, only using the package directions for temp and time. The first couple slices burned black and were inedible. My second attempt reduced the temp of the pan and cooked until it looked done, flip for about the same time and it was done. The flavor was similar to a corned beef, if you sliced it thin and fried it up to be crispy. Once I got used to how to cook it things went quick and delicious. The product is tasty, but not what I expected. It's not entirely unlike bacon, but it's not texturewise or tastewise what we expect bacon to be. It's sort of like the difference between kosher beef salami and Italian pork salami. It's surprisingly NOT kosher or halal, which I feel is a loss, given what types of audiences might hunger for a product like this. A real loss in my opinion. That being said, the product is ok. Absolutely Delicious!! Reminds me of Pastrami made this for saturday morning breakfast cooked it nice n crispy used the leftover oil for my eggs the whole family loved it! Will definitely be buying again! At 40 calories and 5 grams of protein per slice u cant go wrong! Great addition to my diet and it taste so delicious!

Godshall's real wood smoked all natural angus steak uncured beef bacon was different. This is my first time trying beef bacon. I baked it for about 15 minutes. At first I was very skeptical because this definitely does not look like any other bacon I have ever bought. I cooked it in the pan following the exact directions provided on the back of the package. I was happy to see that the amount of grease released while cooking was very minimal compared to the amount of grease I always get when cooking other bacon. At 40 calories (with 2g fat, 0g carbs, 5g protein) per slice, it's makes a great high-protein addition to a sandwich, a breakfast plate, or atop my gf avocado toast! This was some of the best bacon I have ever purchased! It was so tender it was tearing up as I removed it from the package. It cooked really easily and was very tender to eat. Some brands I have tried in the past were really tough or you could see in the package that it was mostly fat. Not this Angus Steak bacon! At best, this beef bacon is a flat, dry, hamburger patty. It does cook up similarly to bacon but I struggle finding a place where I could use this. Perhaps a sandwich.
