Looking at the product and taking a look at the product claims I was really surprised, it had a lot of the things I was looking for, 3 of my favorite things being that it has a good amount of protein, it has low calories, and has no MSG, biggie in my book. The bacon had plenty of meat, was 75% less greasy than regular bacon AND it has a nice subtle smoky flavor, all great things. The only thing I would improve on this product would be to add more spices, but that's my personal preference since I love spices. At first I was very skeptical because this definitely does not look like any other bacon I have ever bought. I cooked it in the pan following the exact directions provided on the back of the package. I purchased the Angus steak uncured beef bacon by Godshall's and was pleasantly surprised with it! It did not have the typical appearance of regular bacon I have purchased in the past. I want sure what to expect of beef bacon. was it going to attempt to be the same as pork bacon or something else entirely? I plan fried the way I would regular bacon, only using the package directions for temp and time. The first couple slices burned black and were inedible. My second attempt reduced the temp of the pan and cooked until it looked done, flip for about the same time and it was done.
