We bought this a couple months ago and finally had good enough weather to build it. I loved the cedar smell that filled our garage! It came in 4 boxes. We stained all the pieces before assembly in our 2 1/2 car garage. We were able to lay all the pieces out on saw horses and the staining process took 3 days to get all pieces stained. The instructions were easy to follow and it took my husband and I two days to assemble without any help. They recommend 3-4 people to help and that's a great idea but if you can't get the help 2 can put it up. You just have to be able to work together!! We weren't sure if we were going to put the small top pieces on but we're glad we did and we love it. Good quality. We were very impresed with the whole process. From ordering to sitting under our new pergola... we love it! I would definitely recommend this product and company. We have no complaints at all.

We bought this Pergola from Sam's Club. It said it was to be delivered in a month, but we received it much earlier. We love it. I had so many people message and call me asking where we got it. It is definitely a 2, maybe even 3 person job. I give it 4 stars because my husband did have to redrill some holes, as not everything lined up as it should. We also noticed after it was up, a front post split vertically down the middle. Otherwise, we love this Pergola.

I bought this pergola late last summer and it was put up later in a raised area. I'm very pleased with it, as it looks fantastic. A few people passing by in vehicles have slowed down and looked at it. As the decking around the pergola will be completed soon, I look forward to enjoying it for a long time to come. The instructions and labelling of the associated pieces were as clear as a bell. It is better for two people to put it up as it is rather heavy, but once it is installed, it is eye candy.

After doing lots of research I decided to go with the 14x13 Beaumont pergola from BackYard Discovery. Boy amI happy I did! Delivery was pretty quick, kept me informed at each step, and the three cartons arrived in pristine condition. It was real easy to then transfer the pieces from the front of my house to the back patio and sort them into their clearly marked designation. Assembly instructions were very clear. It took my wife and myself about 5 hours in total to assemble the whole thing! No real heavy lifting except at the point the ends get “stood up” but even that was well within our capability to manage. End result is beautiful and the envy of the neighborhood! Added some lights and furniture and voila we have our backyard oasis complete!

I love this pergola! It was easy to put together as it was already precut and stained. Looks awesome next to our pool. I was nervous about if the stain would hold up during the winter, but it looks brand new. This pergola was much cheaper than buying one from Menards or Home Depot. Love it and would definitely recommend it to others!

I bought this 16x12 set and put it up very easily between my wife and I with no other help. Instructions were precise and everything lined up. Only disappointment were the cement screws they gave me in the hardware box. 3 out of the first 4 snapped off while screwing them into the predrilled holes in the concrete. I stopped immediately and drove to the hardware store and purchased Tapcon cement scres of same size. it went smoothly with the new screws. It looks awesome!

This comes in four big boxes weighing around 170lbs.each. All boards and hardware are labeled well. Me and a friend pre assembled most of it during the week in my garage. Brought in some more muscle on Saturday to carry the assembled pieces out back to the patio. With three guys we had it up and anchored in about 3 hours. Follow the instructions and lay everything out according to part numbers and you will be fine. Pre assembling saved a lot of time on Saturday.

Our pergola, which covers a portion of our patio, has added a beautiful look to the backyard space (of 5 acres), and has won oooh's and awww's from friends and neighbors. Each piece is finely crafted, and the installation was so easy to arrange and have done. The pergola provides a bit of cover from the sun, and enchanting ambiance both in the daytime and at night. We are very glad we made the investment to our outdoor space. It's given us another "room" off the dining/kitchen area. And...it's a great backdrop for parties and get-togethers.

I bought this in spring 2024 and my husband and I installed it in February of this year. We had a concrete slab poured and attached the metal plates to it after building the pergola. This past weekend we had an EF-1 tornado come through our property, winds were estimated at 110 mph, this pergola is still standing and unscathed!!! We had 30 foot trees uprooted and thrown to the ground. We are very impressed with the quality and build of this structure, 100% recommend!!!

This will be the second summer we have used this pergola. I am still pleased with it. I followed others advice and treated the wood with spar urethane before assembly. It would be easier to assemble with a couple adults. However, I was able to put it up with a little help from my 11 year old daughter. When the Oklahoma heat ramps up, I put a shade cloth over it to provide more shade. Over all I am very pleased with the pergola.
