Bought this on 6-9-2023 arrived 6-13-2023, Assembly was easy took about 6 hrs. for 2 people. Well-built and great quality in making the parts. All cuts were accurate and holes clean and matched. no sharp edges. Really dressed up the curb appeal of our deck, lots of complements and several people asked where we bought it. Very Happy with this purchase.

This totally transformed our backyard into a new space to entertain. The size of it gives you so much freedom and flexibility in how you want to arrange your furniture. Now I just wish we lived somewhere warmer and could use it 12 months out of the year!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this pergola . Got it 7 months back and have gotten many compliments from friends n family. It makes hosting backyard get togethers so much more fun n special! Or even just enjoy your quiet cup of coffee or a glass of wine! Love my pergola !!

Light-weight cedar is easy to work with, and the kit is fairly well-made. Not a lot of warpage, and the bolts and washer stuff seemed fairly-well machined. Pungent Chinese cedar (too bad it wasn't from the U.S.). Only one short piece was split and nearly unusable. We'll see how the warranty goes....

We bought our 12x16 pergola after purchasing another hrand, upon receiving the other brand it seemed “cheap” made of 1x6’s instead of 2x6’s. We returned the other and purchased our “Beaumont” and couldnt be happier, its sturdy, handsome, and easy to look at. We had a retirement party for a friend recently and everyone was complimentary and impressed at its design and beauty!

Pros: Great wood, durable hardware, good design. Very solid. Extra hardware. Cons: Plastic caps on top of four set posts leave 1/8" gap so that brace boards are unable to have bolds and nuts be threaded through - too much space. We tried cutting some of the edges and ultimately discarded the caps. Instructions not detailed enough to explain that two of four brace boards have a row of holes along their top (for the lattice) and need to be placed on outside of the two that lack holes. Probably should have had an extra page in the instructions for this or give the boards with holes a separate number. Neutral: Plastic base plates too flimsy for Florida hurricanes. We used steal base plates that worked well. Interior of set post are not solid cedar, but ripped pine 2x4s. However, cedar overlay done very well - looks like solid cedar. Wish the brace boards were 14' long w/o extensions, but shorter boards with extensions seems to work. Really need three people for this construction, not two.

My husband and I absolutely love our new pergola!! It was an easy two person project as everything was labeled like a map for dummies. We liked the one our friends had and is the reason why we bought ours. Would definitely recommend this product to anyone!

We bought this product about 2 months ago because we wanted to add a nice seating area in our backyard. We love it! Backyard Discovery seems to have a lot of good products. We bought a swing set from them last year and they have both been great quality. The instructions are easy to follow and the pergola is pretty simple to put together for the most part. You can do most of it with two people but it would definitely be handy to have a third when you're standing up the sides otherwise they might fall down (speaking from experience). Overall, it's a great product and exactly what the pictures show you. Highly recommend!

My wife and I was looking to dress up our back porch off of our home. We saw this Pergola in a Sam's flyer. It was a nice fit. It allowed my wife to dress up our back porch and provided a wonder place to drink coffee in the morning. It did take longer to build then the manual says and it took three people but it was well worth it. We love it! And we have received many compliments not only from family and friends but even strangers who have pulled in the driveway and told us how nice our porch looks!

Pergola shipped and arrived within a week of ordering. Discovered a joist missing during assembly. Called customer service and they had a replacement on it's way in two days. Assembly was fairly straightforward but I recommend taking inventory of your parts, having a drill to fine tune pilot holes, and run all the nuts down the bolts prior to assembly. The coating tends to muck the threads up, making them useless. There were extras, but not many. I also ordered some stain as there are alot of touch-ups needed from shipping and assembly. Instructions were ok but take some time to understand so you avoid having to undo steps. It went together more or less as advertised. Added lights and it looks fantastic! .l
