I would have given this a 5 star review but while unpacking and sorting everything, the right side panel was damaged. I called customer service as instructed in the assembly guide, and of course I had to send an email. I was able to pound out the damage and complete the assembly. I found out quickly I had to remove some of the drawer slides to attach the left and right sides, and the drawer guides to the front and rear frame. The screwdriver that was included was nice, but the wrench was useless. I ended up using a socket and ratchet. But overall, it's a nice addition to my basement. I also bought the 6' storage cabinet to go with it, and they are both full of my tools.

I'm very satisfied with the specificity and simplicity of the instructions, the well-marked components, the flawless packaging and to-my-door delivery. It required the expected 8 hours for unpackaging and assembly by myself, but the included magnetic screwdriver helped. A second person can be helpful with specific tasks (such as flipping the table after the 1st part of assembly), but I was methodically able to construct this myself. Cost was 1/2 that of comparable products in big box stores. I'd highly recommend.

I have never imagined that Sams Club would treat there customers like this. I received this item a week before Father’s Day and it was damaged. I have been in contact with them to get a refund and they are holding my refund hostage. I have tried to communicate multiple times and can’t seem to get them to come pick up the bench and issue my refund. This item is showing the back office support team that I haven’t received the item, which is delaying my refund. This is ridiculous no one can manually change the status to get the job done. I will never order a item online again from Sams Club. Horrible customer service!!! Apologizing and not getting back in a timely fashion is ridiculous. I have been patient enough!! If you can’t seem to get in contact with your vendor that is your problem not mind. You should come get your item and give me my refund. You can wait as long as you want. You were quick to take my money but have no problem taking your time returning it.... This product was not well made. My husband needed it as a replacement tool box and it will not be able to hold the type of tools he uses. Which was another reason for the return. He explained that the welding on this bench wasn’t sufficient enough. Also, the metal was to soft meaning it can get damaged pretty easily. I assume that is why it came damage in the first place.

This was delivered 5 days ago. My husband is working on getting it together. There are a few parts missing and damaged to 3 corners. He's going to attempt to obtain the replacement parts from the local hardware store. If it's fully functioning properly, even with the damage, we will keep it. If the damage affects the functioning of the workbench, I will contact Sam's and let them know. You would think after spending over $400, there wouldn't be a need to visit a local hardware store for parts or be concerned with damage.

Not very impressed after 2.5 hrs of putting it together the drawers have very hard time closing and def not very sturdy .The wood had a chip and one drawers had huge scratch on it. The drawers are the worst of it with closing and opening. After putting it together we ARE not taking it apart to return. He said hes gonna suck it up but wished he bought from home depot instead. I would pass on this. Unless if we just got bad one.. 1/10.
