I have several of these mats, some in my home and some in the mudroom. I live in a rural area and am always tracking in something from the outdoors. These mats prevent the outdoor from coming indoor.

Great rug for outside of doorway! Thick, sturdy, and isn't moving around with traffic. Would definitely purchase again. The rug I purchased was 3'x5', would love a bigger size but this one is working.

Dust and dirt catcher.

I'm using this in a slightly unusual place, as protection for the hardwood floor under my desk. I've tried all the 'pretty' mats, and door mats just hold up better. In the past, I've leaned toward the classic mats with the long bands (stripes) in the knap. Let's start with the bad news: it's not the prettiest mat out there. And that's about it! I wish I could rate it 4.5 stars. It's strong, looks to be very durable, and it stays in place. Even the best of the 'stripe' mats tend to move around a little, requiring reseating every week or so; some of the worst of the 'pretty' mats have to be reseated every day or two. I've been using this mat for about a month, and I've adjusted it once -- it had moved about 1/2" away from the desk edge! I plan to get another of these mats when it wears out, but I'm thinking it's going to be a while.

These are great quality mats & the price cant be beat. 2 days after putting them down someone tracked grease on 2 of them but we had no issues getting them clean. The regular carpet however was a different story. I will be buying more for our office.

The mat is Wonderful!! The Delivery was a nightmare! Someone decided to put on my shipping label that I needed to be present and sign for it!! So the first day all the FedX guy left me was a door tag. I had never requested this myself. I order from Sam’s all the time to have items delivered. This was very unnecessary to deal with! Was not a happy camper!!

My family couldn't believe I wanted this rug INSIDE the house until the first messy snow day and everyone was in a hurry to get inside. Unless you're the one cleaning up muddy snow mixed with ice melt on new flooring, it might seem like a large rug. It is very absorbent but does not keep the door from opening. The color and design is subtle enough for indoors. The size is perfect for catching snow and water from people and pets.

We bought this for our 90 year old father who has a vinyl floor and refuses to use a walking aid of any kind and wears socks that cause him to slip. This is very low profile to reduce his trip risk and the texture is perfect even when dry for preventing his feet from sliding on a slick floor when getting out of his recliner. The size choices were good and the price was reasonable.
