The most ridiculous appliance purchase we have ever encountered, and we've bought from all the major appliance sellers at one time or another over the past couple decades. Bought the dishwasher on March 13; order page said we would have it April 1. April 1 comes and goes with no contact from anyone. Contacted Sam's customer service; they couldn't tell me when we'd get the dishwasher. Said we'd hear from the manufacturer....it was weeks before we got a phone call. All this time the Sam's order page still shows April 1--nothing updated. Then when it was finally delivered, it couldn't be installed, which was part of the experience we paid for. We spent tons of time on phone and someone was supposed to finally come out on April 24 to install. After mid-day with no contact, we called back (we've dealt with Sam's, LG, and the delivery/install people---nobody seems to know what they're doing) and found out no one was going to come install it after all---and apparently they didn't intend to call and tell us they weren't coming; we only found out by calling. Husband is capable of installing the dishwasher (which has been sitting in our living room for over a week) but there's nobody to haul the old one away, as we paid for. The whole experience has made us want to cancel Sam's Club membership even though we're within a mile of the store. They'd have to be giving them away for us to ever try to buy an appliance from Sam's again--and even then, we'd think twice. It's been a frustrating experience; we're having a big group into our home in a few days and a dishwasher in a big box is sitting in the living room....terrible customer service. We are returning it IF we can get customer service to handle that--getting the runaround on that too after multiple phone calls. {For reference, we recently bought an LG range through the competitor that begins with the 3rd letter of the alphabet and it was an amazing experience. They kept us informed every step of the way. Even brought us a whole new range because, on delivery, there was a very small defect we were willing to live with but they insisted on bringing out a new one.} As far as a review of the dishwasher itself---we had the almost identical dishwasher at the home we sold 6 months ago. It was bought March 2021; the new homeowners called recently to tell us the motor had gone out on it and did we have any of the paperwork related to the purchase....maybe this whole experience is a blessing in disguise...

I bought one of these. It was junk after about a year when the warranty ran out. Control board flickered and beeped and shut off and restarted, then the circulation pump went out. (the part with the useless 10 year warranty that you can't use without sending out a tech for a few hundred dollars). Also the diverter motor failed a while back. After just over 2 years of having this LG we have decided to scrap it since it is a constant drain on the $$$. Look at the reviews thoroughly online for this item. Tons of pump failures in first couple years. Parts for this model are insanely high too compared to other brands.

Bought this model years ago but never left a review. At first I liked it. It’s quiet and it “sings” to you when you start & finishes. I like the added shelf up top & the adjustable top tray but it’s harder to load dishes. I had more options to place more dishes inside on my previous dishwasher. The silverware attachment is too big and takes up too much room. Pretty stupid idea especially when you have that top tray but what I hate most about it is the ridiculous amount of time each setting is to wash dishes. 3 hours for a normal load? How stupid. Waste of bc energy and water and I don’t care they have a quick setting which is also at 2 hours. If you uncheck the “extra dry” it changes the time setting to an hour but the dishes are wet. Not damp, wet. And now I’m seeing white spots on my silverware. Don’t recommend.

I have had the dishwasher for three weeks and have run it three times. It does a really good job and has a lot of room.
