[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are generally happy with our new dishwasher. It does continue to emit an odd mechanical/oil-type odor when it runs. The only other complaint is that the buttons are easily activated. I have done so when shutting the door and my mother in law bumped it when turning around. It's pretty quiet and does a great job cleaning dishes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dishwasher a month ago. Not sure what took me so long to upgrade, but it was well worth it. This dishwasher is so quiet you won't even hear it running. I purposely put dirty dishes in and they came out sparkling clean. I would recommend this dishwasher to anyone looking for a new one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have run our new DW just a few times and so far we are not happy with it. It looks great, it's very quiet but the performance is not what we are used to. I called tech support and they gave me some recommendations. I will see how the next cycle works. The issues... My dishes are NOT dry. A feature they promote is that there is no heating element at the bottom of the unit so you don't melt plastic but I don't think it's hot enough to dry my dishes. All the items I place on the top rack are wet. Not even close to dry. The tech says I have to use rinse aid. This unit is designed to be used with rinse aid. We'll see. The other issue is that some dishes do NOT get clean. I had a lid from a soup pot and I placed it on the lower rack to be washed. It came out with streaks and still had residue. I left it in the DW for a second run and I still had the same issue so I washed it by hand. The tech says I need to run hot water in the sink to ensure I have hot water in the DW right away. I will try that too.

I have had some dishes come out not real clean, when the dish next to it is spotless. Top rack is a nice feature, though not a game changer. Really nice looking exterior and interior.

The LG dishwasher is different from most. It seems to be constructed as well as the others. But its functionality is not as good as the others. First of all, it does not dry the dishes completely. Even when selecting the “Extra Dry” option. There is not a heating element for drying the dishes. I am very displeased with their hybrid drying system. The LG food disposer is awkward at best. I have had may dishwashers over the years. This one is not up that standards of the others. I would not recommend this dishwasher. I would definitely encourage people not to buy this unit

So happy with my new dishwasher. Pros: upper rack for silver ware is a real back saver, you can also group like things together easier for quicker un loading. The stainless steel interior just looks...elegant. The middle rack is adjustable for taller items. There is also another basket on the bottom for small items, although we don't use it. Cons: Not really a con but, we chose the controls on the front instead of on top of the inside of the door. If you lean up against it while working on the counter, you can change the settings. Every setting has a little chime, so at least you know you have done it.

What more could you want in a dishwasher. Ever-so-slight cons: all of powder soap does not dilute. I’m always accidentally turning the power on by leaning on the front panel - probably my fault not dishwashers.

My husband recently said to me the I must really like the new dishwasher because I load and unload it very quickly. Plus the dishes are really clean, so you don't have to do anything else with them :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this dishwasher for about a month and I love it. However, I would love it even more if the dishwasher cycle wasn't so long as it is about 2.5 hours. However, the dishes are sparkly clean and I have put baked on food pans, banana bread loaf bans, etc and it cleans them wonderfully. The best feature is that this dishwasher is very quiet so it is easy to have a conversation in the kitchen while the dishwasher is running. I would buy it again!
