I am very happy with the performance of my new dishwasher. It’s a bit smaller than my previous one, but is very effective cleaning my dishes. I have a microwave bacon tray that I use, and have not been able to get the grid thoroughly clean - until now. The first time I washed it, it was as if it was new. The rest of the dish load is equally clean. Glasses are clear and sparkling. I also like the upper rack for utensils, and the option of a higher or lower second rack. Thanks for a great product!!

I brought this about a month ago. The overall dishwasher washes great. The issue I have is with the tray the dishes go in. There is too much space between the slats.it is like it is missing a slat across the width of the dishes tray. You can’t put the dishes in standing up in all the areas.

We have had for six weeks. On the upside it is very quiet and dishes come out clean. Even with the control set to "lo" it seems to use a lot of rinse aid. The top (shallow) 3rd rack is too short to accommodate long BBQ utensils. Dishes in the top two racks do not get dry and there is always water on the back of the door. We have tried the settings in the manual for the most dry results and it has not helped.

We moved into a new house in July and found that the dishwasher was on its last leg. I rely a lot on Consumer Reports before making any appliance/electronic purchases and this LG model dishwasher was highly rated. Plus the home had an LG refrigerator which we were impressed with. The dishwasher was installed 08/12/22, so we've been using for 6 weeks now. Everything about it shouts quality including the stainless-steel bottom. I'm very pleased with 3-shelf design and adjustable 2nd shelf, the placement of tines and "stackability" of plates, bowls, platters etc, and the spacious silverware holder. The contents are consistently sparkling clean. I had seen some reviews that others were not happy with the level of drying but I've not had a problem. Yes, there is still some wetness on items with recessed areas where water can pool, but I would never expect such to be bone dry with any dishwasher. Note that I've followed the manufacturer's guide and manual to use a drying agent, plus usually select "high temp" and "extra dry" on the control panel. The manual also suggests running the sink water till it's hot before you begin a wash cycle which aids in drying. The "normal" cycle takes a little over 3 hours, but I typically run at night so it's a non-issue (haven't yet tried any other cycle options). I also saw comments about the bottom tray sometimes coming off the track but learned that loading back to front (logical, right?), plus simply placing my hands in the middle of the rack to push in (rather than leaning over from the sink and pushing from the side) pretty much solved that. Lastly, I saved on the cost by going with the black model rather than stainless steel finish (like the fridge). Design-wise it looks really great, though, not far from my black/SS oven (sorry, not good about attaching photos). All being said, I'd rate this purchase as a truly exceptional value!

After putting in dirty dish and coffee cups with dried coffee to test, we have been thrilled! One negative about the install. Following the directions in the manual for leveling the dishwasher, it was not even close to level

This is my first LG dishwasher - actually, my first new dishwasher in about 10 years. So far, the appliance works great. It's quiet and I like the display showing how long the cycle lasts. The controls are a bit confusing and I'm having to read the manual a lot in order to do what I want.

There is a display to tell how much time is left on the cycle, very quiet during the cycles, and having the silverware container on the side is great! Also, the third rack is great for large items or knives so they don’t get stuck on the other racks.

I love my new dishwasher. My dishes come out clean, no greasy residue. There is a nighttime feature that air dries through the night. There's no water remaining in the tops of cups in the morning when I use this. It has a third drawer on the top that is not very deep, but it is perfect for container lids, overflow silverware, rubber spatulas, sponges, knives, anything flat. There are little teeth in which the silverware can be placed on edge so quite a bit of silverware can be loaded if you aren't using the silverware basket for some reason. The second drawer down (which used to be the top drawer) has four dish separator sections. Two of the divider sections have a side that will lay down flat so you can put in small pans or larger items. The whole drawer can be raised and lowered a few inches to accommodate tall items in either the second drawer or the lower drawer. I really like this option. The makes it more versatile. The bottom drawer holds the silverware basket. I really like this basket as the lid will hold silverware vertically and separated so that they don't nest. Also, there are two separate lids that lift so you can put in small items then close the lid. The small items are now contained so they don't fly. Or you can put in long cooking tools or knives. The bottom basket also has four separator sections. The prong set in two sections each fold down creating a large flat area to accommodate larger items. The bottom drawer is my problem area. It doesn't have a groove for the wheels to glide in which allows it to go off track easily. It slides easily enough when it is not loaded; however, if there is any weight in the drawer, it goes off track. I need to stand directly in front of it and push with both hands to guide it in. If not, it will go off track and will need to be wrestled back in place. Other than that issue, this is an excellent product but couldn't give it five stars as it really has been a problem for me.
