An Ice-Cold Coke Is Always Worth It

Coca-Cola is one of my longtime guilty pleasures. I have cut back significantly over the years and now only enjoy one about once a month or so, but when the craving hits, nothing else will do. There is something special about putting a bottle in the freezer until it is just beginning to form ice crystals, then popping the top and pouring it into a cold glass. The crisp fizz, the refreshing taste, and that unmistakable Coca-Cola flavor are simply hard to beat. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water. Even though the price has gone up quite a bit over the years, I still believe it is worth it as an occasional treat. The 16.9-ounce bottles are a convenient size and perfect for keeping on hand when the urge strikes. If you are a Coca-Cola fan, you already know there is nothing quite like the original. Classic, refreshing, and always satisfying. Yes, I am salivating while writing this and trying hard not to pop a Coke in the freezer.

Taste is hit and miss

It’s ok if you’re desperate. It’s def not my favorite flavor or brand. I use it to help settle my stomach and sometimes with headaches. Sometimes it tastes really good, and other times it’s anywhere from bland to bitter. I often wonder if the only time it’s on sale is when the sellers know the tastes is “off” or it’s getting close to its sell by date.

The 6 pack - 16.9 oz bottles are the sweet spot.

Regular, straightforward Coca-Cola is my favorite and glass bottles would be my choice but ... if looking for the most affordable way to enjoy a Coke and Smile, this is it. 2-litersñ bottles don't work in my household, as carbonation is key and begins to fade after opening and every open thereafter. The 16.9 oz is perfect size, a tad more soda than cans and cheaper than in cans per ounce (at least upon last purchase pricing) Individual bottles are the most efficient and affordable purchase for my gaggle of soda drinkers. It's nice to be able to reseal a soda and pop back in the fridge for later without wasting an entire 2-liter, also. As the Coke connessier in the house, there is definitely a perfect pop experience In every bottle.

My best choice for a cola without all the calories

I like this soooooo much better than Diet Coke. More flavor and taste more like sugar. Coke with sugar is the best and I treat myself now and then to the real thing when I eat out, but my refrigerator has only the Diet Coke in 16 oz bottles. I only drink part of it each time and it stays fresh for a second serving the next day. I don't know why more restaurants don't have Coke Zero!

I bought way too many when they went on sale. About 4 months I wanted to rotate the supply of coke. I was astonished that the soda was flat and had an awful flavor. I never had the opportune to store them. I recall storing tonic water in the GLASS bottles. Plastic lets all the fizz out but only a few weeks worth at a time.

Excellent

There's nothing to be said I've been a Coke drinker since I was a child. I don't like any other drink soda. I prefer this size bottle versus the 2 L bottle because the 2 L bottle goes flat before I can drink it all the cans once you open those, if you don't drink it all at once it also goes flat. I like these bottles because one model lasts me pretty much all day, but as I zip at it, I can put the cat back on and not lose any of the carbonation and if I want, if it gets warm, I can throw it back in the fridge and it'll be cold and I can drink it later that night or the next day and it's like I never opened it to begin with so yes, I buy it consistently.

Coca-Cola Fun Drink

My only negative vent is the pricing Coke thinks it's now worth. $3.00 for a 2 litre bottle soon to be $4.50 maybe even $5.00. On the bright side, I have a really cool Coke recipe for home, no alcohol I promise. Ingredients, a $$$ 2 litre bottle of traditional flavored Coke, lightly packed brown sugar and Lemon concentrate. All the measurements I suggest can certainly be adjusted by you to your liking, mine are just my favorites. In a large cup add 2 heaping tablespoons of lightly packed Brown Sugar. Slowly pour in the Lemon Concentrate to a level where it covers the sugar. Take a spoon and give it a few stirs to combine. Then (slowly) (slowly)(slowly) add Coca-Cola. with fresh sugar, coke and lemon jusice, if your pour too fast, you'll wear the drink not drink the drink. The fresh carbonated Coke interacts with the sugar creating a chemical reaction that expands the combination to 3 times it's regular volume. After successfully combining alll ingredients, slowly stir until you no longer hear sugar grinding noise. It is a very bitter sweet concoction, refreshing and makes me come back for more.

Faint taste of Coke-the balance is off

Coke used to be the thirst quencher. Dark, not too much carbonation. Sweet-right to the brink of syrupy without going over, unless you got it at the pharmacy ice cream counter where you might get an extra pull on the syrup. memorable, unique flavor. Thls Coke didn't do do it for me. Rather pale in color in comparison, therefore not enough "Coke" flavoring is added.A little too much carbonation, throwing the balance off. Waited for the carbonation to die down, but flavor is still weak. Too bad, Coke was always a constant product. When you have a great product that stands the test of time, let it be. waste of money.

No one has ever made Coca-Cola like this, that I can tell you. Cool them in the fridge, pour over ice and you have a beverage break fit for a king. Run, don't walk, to put these in your shopping cart!
