Just received one by online order, it is really quiet, unfortunately it doesn't produce enough air volume to be of any use to me, maybe if you just wanted a light air movement it might be ok, i have purchased the larger model several times and they have always lasted for quite a while, i am returning this one and ordering the larger 42" model, they produce more air, i agree that this one is budget quality.

67 years young contractor here to share about this fan. Why am I taking the time? Because for first time since the seventies, with days beginning @ 5:00 and ending much later.... I have a moment. As stated been around tools both big and small for many decades. I have paid as much (or more) then $1,000.00 for a commercial grade fan to me and my guys cool in the 100° PLUS Oklahoma Summers. Been a Sam's member since the mid-eighties. Saw this fan on SC site, showed it to my wife, and she said buy it, it looks kinda cool! (Pun intended ) I was of course very VERY suspect. I wonder how something like a fan could be manufactured and sold... even @ SC's great price point structure for such a LOW price and still be worth anything. But the very few times over the decades I have never had any issue returning an item. So I ordered it. Bottom line... a TRUE 5 star product... for the MONEY. Yes, it is all plastic, but folks I am NOT gonna take this to job site. It stays in house safe and sound. In closing, quite pleasantly surprised at the quality and performance. And yes, it IS quiet. One key reason is that the motor is Brushless. I have not bought a tool in almost 25 years that is NOT brushless. They cost more, but if treated with respect, brushless tools last and last. Good turning radius, strong fan, tall/sleek design and fairly lightweight. Reasonably priced. The base plate is 2 plastic half circles that must be put together perfectly, and with some light force, then finagled and locked in. Took a few tries. Still easily wobbles. The terrible plastic base makes it overall feel "cheap".

After a previous experience with a similar fan but different brand I decided to give these a try man have these things improved from years ago bought one to try the bought 3 more can definitely recommend Fan works like a charms. one small detail that need improvement is the base I can come lose if you me the lm around every so often they should consider improving the fastening system they are employing.

Great buy! The highest fan setting is pretty powerful! You feel a nice gust of wind. The lowest setting is extremely quiet. We put in the middle setting 6 while sleeping. Oscillation works great. Easy to operate overall. Save A/C costs and buy this fan!

The velocity and quiet are okay. But we have it in a place where we walk by it frequently, and apparently we are brushing against it, because it has already popped off its base twice in the first four days. And it takes 2 people to re-attach it. Our older Lasko tower fan bought in 2019 had a different way of attaching to the base and we NEVER had the problem of the tower dis-attaching from the base.

pros: good volume for the air circulation , it digital controls, gives You the actual temperature of the room, cons: the base is two cheap pieces of plastic. wonder how long it's going to last? not safe near a toddler or puppy., it Will come towering down if bumped. a complete afterthought. By the way, the sands club app is super swell and horrible.When you're trying to write a review, don't swipe anything, as your text box will disappear before you are able to submit it!! terrible app.

We purchased our Lasko Tower Fan last week and we like it. This fan is not perfect, but nowadays what is? Here are our pros and cons so far: Pros Not expensive Nice cool breeze in Air Cond room Has 12 speed settings Energy efficient - 18 watts or less at speeds of 1 - 9 Very quiet at lower speeds Can easily be powered by a Power Station battery Has a remote control Built in remote control storage in back of fan Digital temp/speed indicator on top Display brightness - bright/dim/off 42 inches tall - good for chair or bed height use Built in 12 hr timer Oscillating 90 degree rotation Fan blows in vertical slit unless oscillating Light weight 2 year war. Cons All plastic construction Oscillation mode unsure about for long term use Base design could be better Sensor for remote is on the top of unit Must hold remote above 42 inches to control fan Fan coverage area is a vert. slit unless oscillating Again overall we like the fan and plan to keep it. We do not foresee using the oscillating feature, so hopefully there will be less mechanical wear and it will last us many seasons. We like the cool breeze the fan provides and the very low power consumption of this unit.

Not very powerful . I thought it would at least move air around on the highest speed. Granted its very hot outside on our covered porch but it is puney! Bought it as an addition to our overhead ceiling fans but not much help. Only giving it 2 stars as it's quiet and attractive looking. Maybe it's defective?? Undecided if i should return it and try another!
