[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we first smelled this, we thought it smelled nice but not manly at all. My husband has been wearing it for a few days now and I personally think that it smells different on him than in the container. It smells clean. The smell is very strong but not in a bad way. It reminds me of the way salon products smell. I definitely love smelling him now. My husband says that the deodorant works well. It lasts all day. He said he only reapplies it when the smell fades because he wants to smell it again. I think he loves it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Old Spice Wilderness with Lavender Anti-Perspirant and Deodorant was labeled as being "manly", but neither my son or husband thought it smelled like a scent they would be interested in wearing. I tried it myself since I liked the scent. It never felt like it dried all the way, it left a sticky slightly moist feeling under my arms. I think it worked o.k. on wetness, and the scent lasted all day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband was the guinea pig who tried the Old Spice Wilderness with lavender deodorant. He has been using it for the last two weeks and has had a very positive experience. While the packaging is questionable in regards to what demographic they are marketing to, he did tell me that he really enjoyed the scent before he even started using it. I think many men would be put off by the flower design on the front and not bother sniffing it, so I would suggest that if they are marketing it as a "manly lavender", make the design a man hiking through the wilderness or a tent with a stream (just my idea to market what I think is a really good product). I checked in with my husband frequently and he indicated that this deodorant kept him dry and smelling fresh the whole day without any issues. I will fully admit that I have been known to sniff his armpits (when you cuddle, it's just there you know?), and his deodorant can be a make it or break it when it comes to quality cuddle time. That being said, I could smell a lingering scent of this deodorant after he had it on all day, but I had to take a pretty big whiff to really smell it. So, basically if you are a guy looking for something more subtle, but works to keep that BO smell at bay, this product would be a great fit. Overall, my husband really likes this deodorant and isn't bothered by the packaging because he's secure in his manliness, but I know that others may pass it up because of how it's marketed. Add some fun manly wilderness images to "spice" this one up a bit more and I think Old Spice has got a winner here.

I don't know about you, but I don't want to smell like a sweatshop when I'm doing man things. I use Old Spice antiperspirant to keep me fresh. It works. And my lady friend loves it.

I used this before my golf game. 18 holes in 86 degree weather. I still smelled great when we were done. The pro's are many, it works magnificently. Smells great. Manly Lavender is correct. The only Con is that I only have one. I will be trying the other scents too. Great quality product.

My husband used it and not only did he stay dry but his scent was intoxicating. The fresh lavender scent lightly lingers so cologne was not necessary. I could not resist sniffing as he walked by me. He enjoyed wearing it since I was so pleased with the freshness. This is definitely a deodorant we will keep purchasing.
