[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Here's my experience with Old Spice's Deep Sea with Ocean Elements Antiperspirant and Deodorant. I'm unsure what in the listed ingredients are considered "ocean elements"; this may only refer to the fragrance, and that seems a little misleading - you sort of expect oceanic minerals in it or something with that wording. The initial strong scent of it REALLY put me off - a LOT, it's nothing like the usual smells I go for - but don't necessarily let that stop you. How it smells freshly opened is nothing like how it smells once applied, probably due to body chemistry. Still, that's enough to cost it a star from me. I don't want to be going "EUGHHH" at the scent of anything I'm putting on my body. I found it kept my underarms bone dry and non-stink for over 48 hours - forget a day and you'll be fine. I tested it during a recent humid heatwave in MA, and while I changed sweaty shirts a few times a day at its worst, this deodorant held up while the rest of me was soaked. I didn't notice any white staining from it on my shirts, nor was it visible on me after a few minutes post-applying. It's not for you if you want a more natural deodorant or don't want an aluminum-containing antiperspirant, but if you're a heavy armpit soaker this one does the job as well or better than Mitchum, my usual go-to. I probably won't buy this particular version after this test run because of the scent issue, but keep in mind it'll smell different on you than in the container. I was provided with a free sample from PinchMe for testing purposes & my opinion of the product. Yes, I would recommend it to friends who have issues controlling pit sweat, but with the caveat that it does contain aluminum & talc, and the scent can be odd.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This deodorant is a great smelling solid stick of deodorant, the bottom easily turns to release deotorant the cap is very new and different locks in place securely. I honestly thought at first that this deodorant was going to smell very gurly and my husband being a very manly who loves clean scented and strong manly smelling deodorants, I thought he might not like it until I smelled it it smell very manly like and strong the scent lasts for hours. My husband also loved the scentd, he also has very sensitive skin and he had no reaction to this deodorant. The deodorant speads consistantly and evenly and leaves you dry and smelling great throughout the day.

I found the scent is a decent non gender specific smell and seems like anybody who likes vanilla would enjoy using this. The deodorant itself lasted through the day and performed well combating both odor and sweat. The only thing was you will get white stuff on your clothes from it which is kind of annoying.

As a lady, I don't like the flower or baby powder smelling deodorant normally. I love the scent of the lavender from Old Spice though but I've recently discovered that it's making the armpits on my shirts purple! I've washed my favorite tank top three times and it's still purple under the arm pits. That's my only complaint about this deodorant

It has a very pleasing fragrance but not overpowering. Glides on smooth and not sticky. Seemed to be effective at its purpose of keeping you dry. Would definitely recommend this product.

Glad I tried Deep Sea with Ocean Elements Deodorant! While I’m not really sure why the scent is described as “deep sea” it is a very clean scent and not at all overpowering. I have been wearing it for several days now and have had no issues whatsoever with staying dry- it really seems to be up to the challenge

At first I thought it was just another Old Spice deodorant and thought I'd give it a try. When I applied it and smelled myself hours late I was amazed! Not only did it smell good, but after hours of having applied it, I noticed it was still smelling good. I have to say, even though Old Spice is an old brand, current deodorant still have competition and I mean old school competition. I am happy with this deodorant and when I am finished with it I will go to the store and look for a 3 pack. Thank you Pinche and Old Spice!!
