Very good performance and outstanding value!

TL;DR: If you're looking to replace your Pro V-1 balls for 1/4 of the price, you can keep looking, but if you want a good performing ball for $1.25 each, and if you can get past the ugly logo, this is your ball. Full story: I am currently a 12 hdcp senior, and I have played "second tier" balls for as long as I can recall, because they offer plenty of performance for less money ... Titleist NXT Tour was my go-to for many years until they stopped making them ... then Srixon Q-Star Tour and TaylorMade Tour Response more recently. But after reading about the (insert other warehouse club ball name) I was intrigued by the possibility of a ball that would work well for me for a bit more than half the cost of what I was playing. I've never gotten the chance to try them because I don't have one of those stores anywhere close to me, but then Sam's came out with this ball ... I read all of the comparisons, both robot testing and live player reviews, and decided to give it a try. I've now played a little over two rounds with them, and I'm impressed enough that I very well might stick with them after I've used up these two dozen. I haven't noticed any significant difference in distance on the driver or approach irons. The amount of spin I'm getting on approach shots is exactly what I want: depending on how firm the greens are, the ball either stops near where it landed, or takes one hop and then stops with minimal roll-out, and almost never spins back more than a few feet. The balls don't spin quite as much on pitch shots as the balls I was playing, but they spin plenty enough so I only have to adjust my landing spot by a step or so on most shots (again, depending on the greens). On short chips, the ball makes a "click" more so than the other balls I've been playing, and does roll out a bit more, but again that's been an easy adjustment to make. And I've had no problems putting them ... in fact, last week I made a couple of fairly long putts (I'm not saying that was because of the ball, but I can say that the ball didn't cause me any issues!) Four stars for performance plus a fifth star for value. But that logo ... really? It certainly wasn't designed by anyone who has any idea about golf balls, and I really hope they rethink that in upcoming releases! So, if you play mid-tier balls, or especially if you like to play some of the lower-tier balls, I can highly recommend that you give these a try to see how you like them!
