I’m hooked!!

I've been buying this coffee for several years. The old packages referenced Wisconsin on the side label for the company. The current and for last yr or 2 referenced Albuquerque. With that change this coffee went to garbage. Small beans. No flavor. Over roasted and dried out. Tried again last month. Still the same garbage. I will no longer buy this stuff as it is not a good product.

This is a coffee like none other! As a VFW I’ve consumed so many cups from so many countries, nothing being comparable!

I used to purchase this coffee. The Columbian and morning blend were my favorites. The problem is when people use every coffee grinder for their flavored coffee, i.e. hazelnut. It ruins other people's coffee. So, until Sam's designates a coffee grinder for flavored coffee only, I will not purchase it again.

If you are ordering online just forget it. Customer service on this subject is horrific. Plainly the listing shows a variety of flavors available. Unless you want the flavor that is in the example picture then don't bother ordering. Saw the listing of all the flavors in the listing itself. Ordered, but found no provision to choose a flavor. Got on chat to confirm. A note was sent to the store by that representative. Then called the store and spoke to fulfillment. The could not be bothered. Tried to fob me off with it is a variety pack. No it's not. It is a choice of 3lb bean flavors. Choose one. Finally said they just get in one flavor and it is whatever they have. No again. Whole end cap full of different flavors in the store. Finally said they would make sure to get me the chocolate flavor I wanted. Nope, didn't happen. Just wanted me off the phone. Poorest Sams services I've received so far. Incredible. Even the CS chat rep I contacted to get things fixed disconnected me.

I only grind this coffee at home. I have had bad experiences with my morning blend tasting like hazlenut and I do not like "flavored" coffees. The stores need to have a grinder specifically for non flavored coffee. I no longer purchase this brand because of this.

This is the 2nd bag of different variety over several months, where I have gotten a bag of stale coffee. the expiration date has a long time until expiration, but the coffee is bad. It doesn't even smell like coffee when you open the bag, and it tastes awful. Back to the store it will go. I'm done - their quality control is non-existent, and I'm tired of wasting my time to find a bag that actually has fresh coffee in it.

I know that this is a review for the Rio Grande Roasters Pinon, however the Sams Club that I go to has a variety of different flavors that aren't listed on the website. The Butter Rum flavor is the first one that I have tried with Rio Grande and all I can say is that it has been amazing coffee. It has a wonderfully smooth taste freshly ground and butter rum tastes a lot like toffee, so it is a great mix of flavor between that and the coffee. The aroma is also great. I use this coffee in a Black and Decker coffee maker and a Keurig machine and it turns out great in both! Would definitely recommend based on what I have tried. Will definitely have to try the Pinon or the dark roast on my next trip to Sams Club!

On vacation I stopped in a Sam's in Albuquerque and thought I would give it a try. I purchased the Premium Dark. I am so glad I did. I couldn't wait to get up every morning and brew a pot....or two. But when I got back home I couldn't find it in the store or online available for shipping. Very sad.
