WORST FAUCET EVER!!!

This has been the worst faucet I've ever put in and it's in my own kitchen!. Grew up in the construction business, owned my own construction business, now retired and have put in many sinks and faucets in house, both new and remodeled, so doing this is not my first time working with a faucet. Wasn't real happy with this faucet when it was put in with a new sink 4 years ago, but thought it was just because I really liked the 20 year old Kohler faucet it replaced. Decided I'd give it a chance. It has gone from bad to worse as time has past. The only good part about this faucet is the magna-tite docking system. The handle has never worked right. It wouldn't shut off when first put in. Still have to wiggle the handle after turning the faucet off to make it stop dripping, even after pulling the handle and putting it back together. Assume it has a flow restrictor in the head, so there is no water pressure to start with. The spray is only on 2 sides of the pull out head, not all the way around. The ShieldSpray is a joke! It's a trickle of water, if water even comes out. Now hot water comes to the faucet, but only cold water comes out no matter what which way the handle is moved. I have the handle off to try to fix the no hot water and constant drip, but at this point, I have to leave and am seriously considering coming home with a new faucet and throwing this in the recycling. 4 years is enough frustration with this faucet. Thought about donating it, but wouldn't want someone else to waste money for the same frustration.

Cheap, poor quality control

The handle is too heavy for the plastic cartridge and won’t stay closed. Reached out to delta faucet for help multiple times and only get the same parts sent out time after time but no actual solution.

Nice style

Had it for about 2 weeks and it looks nice, the counter weight should be a bit heavier in my opinion also the pex houses are a bit hard to install ( not flexible)

Looks good, cartridge wears out fast

Owned for 6 years now. Looks great! Problem is every 12 to 14 months I have to replace the valve cartridge. What a hassle, only 2 people in house so it doesn't get used much. Couldn't imagine is there was a house full using this faucet.

It is nice looking and the price was right.

We like the product. The reason we didn't give it a 5 star is because it took us some time to make sure we turned the water off. If the handle is not correctly in the off position, water will continue to drip.

Not impressed

I would close the tap, start to walk away and hear it dripping. I would have to turn around and close it a 2nd time. The soap dispenser reservoir is small. We are constantly having to refill it

Nice Faucet

I love the look and the features, and easy to install. It could have a little smoother operation, it's hard to set the balance between hot and cold. I love how easy it is to clean and to use the sprayer. It's a great compliment to my kitchen.

Hi, We thank you for reviewing the Delta faucet. We apologize for any difficulty with getting temperature. There is a linear relationship between handle movement and temperature output. Everything is compressed because the handle will be moving across a small arc of travel. The lower the volume of water, the greater the change in temperature you'll see when moving the handle by a certain amount. We recommend to dial in your preferred temperature output while the faucet is running at full flow (as that’s when the handle has the widest arc of travel and, therefore, a less compressed temperature to handle movement ratio). Once the temperature is dialed in, you can push the handle straight up towards the “off” position to lower the flow (if desired) and maintain the dialed-in temperature that you are looking for.
