I bought a month ago. Spent three days putting the sealant and stain on every square inch of cedar wood. Had two guys put together with me assisting on lifting sections. Took about 20 hrs to put completely up. Went together great and looks awesome and very solid. Only thing I did was buy my own concrete bolts. I used 1/2 bolts . It never going anywhere.

I can't say enough good thing about this product!! I searched a long time for something that was going to the size I wanted and withstand possible wind conditions. I had this built in September 2025 and this past winter we experienced lots of heavy wind conditions and zero concerns especially because my area building code requires 3ft footers so it definitely wasn't going anywhere!!! The only complaint from my contractor was the way it was packaged having to unbox everything and find all the parts. We had electric installed including a ceiling fan and the power port if excellent to be able to plug in additional items needed. Can't wait to get out this spring!

This gazebo is very strong and easy to build. My husband and cousin built this over the course of two days. The instructions were easy to read and understand but they could use some extra stamping on the pieces for which way is up. They did struggle with the trusses but eventually figured it out. Overall a wonderful gazebo and we couldn’t be more happy with it.

Overall this was an ok install. Much easier to do than if I would have bought all the materials and built it myself. The steps were clear, BUT there were occasions where I did some things incorrectly that I then needed to redo. My list of things I would call out for someone else putting this together: 1. The instructions are written with the front being the taller end. In my case I wanted to have the front be the shorter end. With smaller things, pivoting the item works well, but something of this size and weight I needed to build right to left and reverse terms like "FRONT" and "BACK" 2. When putting the rafters in, some pieces have angled ends and needed to go in a certain direction to fit. 3. There are extra screws, bolts, nuts, etc.. in case you mess something up. 4. If you're anchoring into concrete, a hammer drill is your friend. 5. If you're placing it next to something, account for space to use a drill. It was tight at times to fit a drill in and to access the back of the roof for the edging where we placed it. 6. It comes in a lot of boxes that are heavy, especially the roofing. It took me and one other person about 4 half days to build, and 15 minutes or so at night organizing what bolts we would need for the next day so we could move quicker.

We have yet to assemble our unit. Living in Northeast Wisconsin, the weather hasn't been cooperating. But, as we unpacked it all, beginning to seal everything, we are truly impressed with the materials, the manual and the quality of everything.

To complete my family's backyard transformation, we wanted to include a gazebo over our hot tub. After researching many different gazebo kits, we decided to team up with Backyard Discovery. Assembly took us about 2 days, and we had 3 adults working on the project. The parts were well labeled, and the instructions were amazing!! Backyard Discovery not only provides normal paper instructions but, they utilize the BILT App which gives you 3D instructions as well as reads them aloud. The App also gives tips, tricks, and cautions during assembly. This was my first time using the BILT App and I am impressed. The assembled gazebo is very sturdy and is simply beautiful. i think, it wouldve been nice to have had the booklet, or the scan code, prior to the boxed parts, arriving on site. since there were so many boxes, it was difficult to get to the box with the instructions. it took 2 men and 1 woman about 6 full days to complete. I dont know if, instructiobs werent clear, or if the men jumped ahead, and thought they knew better ha ha. But the first 2 days was a lot of redoing. Did have left over bolts n screws, but were short on a few, and drip edge. seems like a wellbuilt carport. very nice color and trim. so time will tell how it holds up. Good luck!

Purchased this item on13 May 2023 and it was delivered on 24 May 2023. I purchased assembled for $500.00 thinking it would save me time finding someone to assemble it. I was wrong because the company Sam's Club uses for assembly is GoConfigure and they scheduled assembly on 4 different dates for a 4 hour block each time. They didn't show up or call for any of them, 16 hours waiting wasted. The 5th time they scheduled the assembly (1 Jul 2023) one person showed up to do it by himself. It is impossible to assemble by one person. I ended up helping him since I wanted to get it completed. Sam's Club did give me a refund for the assemble but I don't want anyone else to go thru the problems I had. The low rating is for GoConfigure would give them 1 star if I could, not the gazebo because I really like the gazebo that I would give 5 stars. I will never do anything with GoCongure ever again because they gave me incorrect information from the begining and wasted a lot of my time.

This is my second Gazebo from BYD and couldn't be happier. This one covers my outdoor kitchen and, just like the one I have covering my hottub- its rock solid, real cedar, and easy to assemble. I live in the PNW and having cover- that will not rot and stay beautiful- is essential.

I just finished setting up my 24x12 Arcadia Gazebo. Overall it turned out great. Very happy with how it looks. The instructions are just ok, pretty easy to figure out once you get familiar with the parts. I took a star off because a few of the pieces had the holes pre drilled in the wrong spots. This is at least a 3 person job for some parts of it.
