Great performance and rid-a-bility

I have the Michelin LTX M/S2 tires on my Chevrolet Tahoe, they have performed like no other tire I have owned. They have not worn since installed them approximately two (2) years ago. I have my tires rotated on a regular basis. My ride in Tahoe is smooth and comfortable do the the tires. In wet weather which happens quite frequently in Florida, they perform excellent when coming to a complete stop. I would recommend them highly to anyone that purchase these tires. I have had different tires over the years and these are undoubtedly the best I've every owned. Michelin keep doing what your doing because it works, don't change anything.

Well worth the extra money

I have ran LTX M/S tires for years on my 4Runners some getting up to 100,000 miles before needing replacement. The new LTX M/S2's are the next generation of LTX M/S and I see no reason that they will not last as long as well! Properly balanced and rotated every 5,000 miles these tires are smooth, quiet, and still aggressive when you need it in the mud, sand or snow.

Michelin LTX M/S2 Repeat Customers!

Michelin LTX M/S2 - 3 sets owned. We have two SUV's of the same model but different years. We first bought the Michelin LTX M/S2 for my husband's SUV approximately 6 years ago. Two years later, I purchased a different manufacturer's tire for my SUV. We both drive quite a bit and typically accumulate 20k miles a year. I had issues with hydroplaning on wet pavement as well as slippage in turns on dry pavement, and snow/ice driving was pretty poor as well. My husband thought I was crazy and I must have been driving too fast! Fast forward to fall 2012. I was in desperate need of replacing my other manufacturer's tires. I couldn't imagine another Ohio winter with my current tires. My husband and I agreed, that his Michelin's still had much more tread on them than my tires, they handle all road conditions better and the price is reasonable, so we replaced my tires with the Michelin LTX M/S2. I had a great winter driving experience with no issues of hydroplaning or slippage AND no problems with the snow/ice! In the Spring of this year, we finally replaced his tires with another set of the Michelin LTX M/S2. He drove 2 1/2 years longer on his Michelin's than my competitor's tire. Lesson learned. As long as Michelin makes tires, we are happy Michelin customers!!!

Incredable Tire

I ran the LTX M/S on my 2001 F150, I went through 3 sets of tires averaging 130000 miles per set, the truck had 526000 miles on it when I replaced it and the last set still had serviceable tread. I now have a 2014 f150 and replaced the factory skins with LTX at 54000, i'm looking forward to 100k plus miles on them on this truck as well. Traction was great in rain or snow, no noise and a comfortable ride.

Best tires available for Yukon XL

Switched from competitor's radials upon mechanics advice to Michelin LTX M/S 2's and was amazed at the better handling and performance offered by the LTX M/S 2 tires. Driving a Yukon XL in the mountains (Asheville, NC area) will quickly bring out the best and worst in a set of tires. Previous competitors tires would squeel, chatter, and feel mushy through turns. The Michelin LTX M/S 2's have exhibited none of those characteristics and have even improved my gas mileage up to 3 and 4 more miles per gallon. At this point, I will never put another tire on my Yukon XL other than the LTX M/S 2's. I would definitely recommend this tire to a friend and better yet, now my Dad and brother(who drive Suburbans) have gone to these tires and sing their praises too.

Put these on my F150 ...

Put these on my F150 S'Crew and it is like riding in a Cadillac. These are the smoothest tires I have ever ridden on. They're super quiet and feel firm to the road. Although I do not have enough miles on them to rate wear they seem to be doing very well. Absolutely the best tire you can put on a truck used for limited off road use and mainly highway.

Rate, LTX M/S2

Actually, I bought 6 of these tires for a 2005 GMC SIerra 3500 dually... I pull a 36'5th wheel, and so far they have delivered anything I could have expected out of them... Got into about 6 - 8" of snow in hunting season, and I got out of the campground with no problems.. No spinning, sliding, or stopping problems... I sure do hope I get the longevity as the previous set of Michelin's.. 70,000 miles out of a dually... NOT TOO SHABBY.... Thanks... Dennie Burrell

Can not complain!!!

I bought a set ( size 265/70/17 ) for my 2010 Tacoma DC 4x4, the tires ride great and are very quiet. I haven't had any problems so far. My father was a Michelin man and I know why!! These are the best tires for a smooth quiet ride. Dry and wet traction are not a problem on the road. I can not attest to the offroadability due to a lack of experience, my time is spent on the highway. In my hwnest opinion you can't go wrong with these tires.

Michelin is my trucks best contact!

I live in the Appalachian mountains where most paved roads are curves and two lane, therefore tires need good traction. Tires also tend to wear faster on this type roads, but this is my second set of Michelin tires and both have gone approximately sixty thousand miles each. They are smooth riding and handle great.

Good So Far

Replaced a set of LTX A/T's ~ 1600 Km ago. The A/T's had been a great tire, but were pretty beat up after a Canadian arctic trip and over 2000 Km of gravel. I elected to return to an LTX as I rarely need the A/T benefit & saw a ~5% fuel economy hit with the A/T's. So far usage has been about 50/50 gravel/paved Hwy. On the Hwy they are good w/ low noise, better gas mileage than the A/T's, good response & track well in heavy rain. On the gravel (logging roads in BC) they are also good & manage areas where the surface is soft well. The only mild complaint is they are more prone than the A/T's to trapping gravel in the treads
