I love that I can grill chicken or burgers, as well as you the griddle part for pancakes, or even the waffle plates to make breakfast! So versatile and functional! Very easy to use and clean. This is SO much better than any other nonstick grill/griddle combo I have used. I highly recommend this! Especially because it has many functions. Great, great product! This product is great! We love the different plate attachments. I can make waffles and after make eggs and pancakes at the same time. The waffle timer is great! First time using at level 4, and the waffles came out nice and fluffy! I will play around with the other levels to see how the waffles change. This purchase was worth it with all that you can do with it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am trying to reduce counter and cabinet clutter, so have been staying away from one-trick pony appliances. I already have a countertop grill, griddle, and waffle maker, so the Elite Multi initially intrigued me as to the potential to replace all three. In short--it does. And does it well. First, the griddle--the unit opens to a flat 180 with a simple press of the button located on the hinge, creating two separate cooking surfaces that each have a grease drain spout in the middle to share the single grease catcher the presses into the back of the unit. Pancakes are the litmus test of heat distribution, as any cold/hot spots will be apparent on the surface of each pancake. I was impressed with how evenly they cooked--even with 4 pancakes on each side, I could not detect any hot spots--fantastic! With a simple push of a button, each grate releases and can either be flipped (for the ridged/smooth plate for grill/griddle use), or for changing out the plates for the waffle plates. Our household loves waffles, and given the even heating experienced in griddle mode, we were not surprised to also experience even heating when making our waffles. The grill mode is equally as impressive. Smash burgers are made twice as fast since you can insert your patties and then close the clamshell and lock it down with the slider in order to apply even pressure throughout the cook. We made smashed potatoes (for that crispy/creamy combo!), and the rear hinge has an ace up its sleave--the hinge height can be adjusted to accommodate two-sided (simultaneous) grilling of larger objects (like our baby potatoes). Overall I didn't expect to like the Elite Multi as much as I did, since often multi-tasking tools and appliances do many things, but not always well. This unit has surprised us, and it has earned a permanent space on the countertop--we literally have not removed it since we first started using it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A must have in every kitchen! I kept buying flat pan to make pancakes and such on but they kept bending. This is separate from the cooktop so it’s so much easier to clean. You just push the buttons on the side and the tops come right off to either clean or switch the sides. You can choose the temperature depending on what your making but the best part is how easily it cleans and folds. It folds so compactly. This is awesome and one of my favorite features. The non stick is incredible too! I don’t use pots and pans if I don’t have to anymore.

Purchased the grill recently and was super excited to replace several kitchen gadgets with a single item. It is appears to be sturdy and I believe it will hold up for the long haul; however, there are several things that I don’t care for: 1. It takes a good while to preheat. 2. If you are not VERY careful when lifting the upper lid, the upper plate will catch the heel of your hand causing burns. It has bit my husband twice now causing burns to the heel of his hand; I have learned to use both hands and lift from the side. 3. The height adjuster only adjusts the front of the plates and does not increase the height in the rear of the plate, which would create a level surface for making paninis or grill cheese sandwiches. This issue tends to push sandwiches towards the front of the grill preventing even heating/melting of cheese. 4. As a side note, it is heavy so if planning to store at shoulder height or above, please note that it weighs just over 15 lbs. While I realize it might be a great tool for some, it is not what I would consider the ideal tool for my kitchen. I do have other items from Greenpan, such as the fry pans that I love and the slow cooker that works well.

If this was a cheap item, I would not bother writing a review because usually you get what you pay for, but this unit is not cheap and has a couple of design flaws: - Tried to use the grill plates to make panini, but the sandwich kept sliding out from the weight of the top cover, if I put it a bit back it will slide back and out. The plates are so smooth that items just slide, I had to hold the sandwich in place and press on so that it does not slide. - This is not an appliance I'll be using daily so naturally I'll be moving it and storing it in another area of the kitchen. It would've nice if you could store it vertically on its back and vertically on its side, that is a bit weird. Otherwise, I like it you can take the plates out, easy to clean and replace with griddle or waffle.

I was also able to remove my waffle maker from the house. And my griddle pan. Everything works great. It heats up quickly and Cooks evenly.
