Finally replaced an old slow cooker and WOW what an upgrade. I love the front panel, it's very easy to use and so far everything we have made has come out perfectly. It holds the temperature you set it to, unlike our old cooker that would just get too hot.

I started our family off with a stew that I just left for most of the day on the counter and it was so convenient to have ready by dinner time! I’m excited to keep experimenting with all the handy features! So convenient!

I bought this slow cooker to replace 2 older Crock-Pots and used it for the first time yesterday. What I love: the ability to sear in the cooker, the color (white), the light weight of the insert, the handles on the insert that make it easy to left out, the ease of cleaning the insert, the size (perfect for my family of two). The caveats: the difference in hight and low settings default is only 10 degrees (my old Crock-Pot on high reached 300) so you may need to adjust the temperature manually if you really need a quick cook, the length of the plug cord. Since this slow cooker sears, it may spatter. Most kitchens have plugs on the backsplash under upper cabinets. It is difficult to get this slow cooker far enough away from upper cabinet to avoid grease splatter. Note to GreenPan - please make a longer cord.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this GreenPan Premiere 6-Quart Slow Cooker. I got it in stainless steel and it’s the perfect size for my family. I have been using it daily since I got it and every meal has turn out very good. My family likes slow cooker meals and I make them a lot because they are so easy and the meats are always so tender. I really like that I can brown and sear meat before actually slow cooking. The pot is removable for easy clean up. It has a LCD display and 8 preset buttons like slow cook, steam, simmer and more. I really like the steam option it’s a great feature so I can make healthier foods like broccoli, carrots and other veggies. The silicone side handles are a great feature and the pot is lightweight which makes it easier to lift out. It doesn’t get too hot on the outside when cooking so it’s safe to set on my counter. It has a glass lid so you can see the food as it cooks. There is a place on the back to store the power cord in when not using it. It also comes with a roasting rack which is a nice feature. I really like this slow cooker as it offers many options to prepare food for my family. I have made pot roast, lasagna, chicken and pulled pork in it and all of the meals have been very good. I am looking forward to making many more meals in this slow cooker. This is a nice slow cooker and I am very happy to have it.

We love beef; hence, using this slow cooker to make the beef soft is definitely the bomb. It is easy to use because it is very straightforward - all you have to do it choose if you want to saute it or slow cook or steam! We love the fact that it is non-toxic and is easy to clean. It is a perfect addition to our kitchen appliances.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really happy with this slow cooker, it does what it should very well, and it’s features are really useful. I’m a big fan of GreenPan, their coatings are really tough, way tougher than Teflon and other coatings, truly non-stick (making cleanup super easy), and being non-toxic is a definite plus. I haven’t tried all the settings, but the browning setting works really well, meaning you don’t need to use a separate pan… it has worn up times meaning food hits the pan at the right temperature. And after you’ve browned, just set it to slow cooker (hi/low/warm) and set the time. I found it very easy to use and intuitive, I didn’t need to open the instructions at all, although it does come with helpful information. I like how the pot is much lighter than a crockpot’s ceramic pot, it makes it much easier to was and move around… I’ve broken a crockpot before because of the weight and it being slippery with soap. Again, I’m very happy with this, I really like GreenPan products, and it looks good, I definitely recommend getting this!

With a chic, stainless steel exterior, LCD screen and single-button push settings, this slow cooker is just brilliant! With a 6-quart capacity, I am able to feed my family of 4 with ease, and have plenty of leftover for secondary meals. My favorite feature of this slow cooker is the ability to sear meats prior to slow cooking, as it saves me from a secondary mess! The ceramic insert cooks food slowly and evenly, and the ability to easily set a timer and temperature are so convenient. We utilize Silicone utensils are recommended to prevent scratches and have had no issues with scratches on the surface. The unit is simple to clean and just prepares the most beautiful meals! Highly recommended!

I can steam, sauté/brown foods before slow cooking. I decided to make peppered steak and the food came out perfect!! The clean up was super easy. I like how there’s rubber handles on the side of the liner to prevent from getting burned. It also has the option of a timer to set when you’re not nearby. The liner is well made and a unique type of material. I look forward to using this everyday for wonderful meals for the family!

I got this slow cooker for Christmas last year and it was love at first sight. The features are amazing and the non-stick "crock" is a game changer. Unfortunately, a few months ago it began randomly shutting off in the middle of cooking. This resulted in a number of lovingly prepared meals that had to be thrown out. Also, the lettering on the buttons wear off quickly and then you have to press buttons from memory, which isn't great if, like me, you only use your slow cooker a few times per month. The concept of this appliance is excellent, but the quality and longevity of the product is lacking, especially at this price point.
