I love the fact I can sauté your meat all in one pan then slow cook!!! Meat comes out so tender and so tasty!!! The pot is also dishwasher safe as well which makes clean up easy!!!

I got this slow cooker for Christmas last year and it was love at first sight. The features are amazing and the non-stick "crock" is a game changer. Unfortunately, a few months ago it began randomly shutting off in the middle of cooking. This resulted in a number of lovingly prepared meals that had to be thrown out. Also, the lettering on the buttons wear off quickly and then you have to press buttons from memory, which isn't great if, like me, you only use your slow cooker a few times per month. The concept of this appliance is excellent, but the quality and longevity of the product is lacking, especially at this price point.

I bought this slow cooker to replace 2 older Crock-Pots and used it for the first time yesterday. What I love: the ability to sear in the cooker, the color (white), the light weight of the insert, the handles on the insert that make it easy to left out, the ease of cleaning the insert, the size (perfect for my family of two). The caveats: the difference in hight and low settings default is only 10 degrees (my old Crock-Pot on high reached 300) so you may need to adjust the temperature manually if you really need a quick cook, the length of the plug cord. Since this slow cooker sears, it may spatter. Most kitchens have plugs on the backsplash under upper cabinets. It is difficult to get this slow cooker far enough away from upper cabinet to avoid grease splatter. Note to GreenPan - please make a longer cord.

This does so much more than my previous slow cooker, you can do everything you need to cook a roast for instance...You can put the roast in, let it brown on both sides with your spices, water & onions then once it's done, you don't need to switch out of a big pan like usual. You just add the rest of your veggies, add more liquids & put it on slow cook. The roast is ready quickly & cooked all the way. I've been able to cook numerous other meals in this, nothing ever burns, it's always cooked perfectly & nothing ever sticks to the inside. This is super easy to clean, has all the options & everything is easy to store. It does take up a bit more counter space than my other slow cooker, but that's the only drawback of this one. I can't recommend this enough, worth every penny, even if you don't use a slow cooker for a lot of meals, you can use it to do so many other things, you'll be pleasantly surprised! This brand has really great reviews & now I know why, it's so much more superior than cheaper 6 qt. slow cookers. If you're not purchasing because of the price, I always say to myself, buy once, cry once. It may be more expensive up front, but it's going to last longer, cook better & do so many more things, the initial investment will give you so much more return than other brands.

We love beef; hence, using this slow cooker to make the beef soft is definitely the bomb. It is easy to use because it is very straightforward - all you have to do it choose if you want to saute it or slow cook or steam! We love the fact that it is non-toxic and is easy to clean. It is a perfect addition to our kitchen appliances.

I have an older slow cooker that really is a pain to clean and burns in some places, uneven cooking at best. This new slow cooker is amazing! First, I can brown meat right in the unit, really getting the flavor I want before I slow cook. Then I simply toss in my other ingredients and let it go. We make one pot meals often and the pre-setting on this cooker make it easy. What I like even more is the clean up, the pot lifts right out, plus it has Greenpan's ceramic nonstick interior. Just rinse and wash, done. No more scrubbing! Lastly, I have to say it is really good looking and happy to leave it out on my countertop when not in use. Total upgrade!

With a chic, stainless steel exterior, LCD screen and single-button push settings, this slow cooker is just brilliant! With a 6-quart capacity, I am able to feed my family of 4 with ease, and have plenty of leftover for secondary meals. My favorite feature of this slow cooker is the ability to sear meats prior to slow cooking, as it saves me from a secondary mess! The ceramic insert cooks food slowly and evenly, and the ability to easily set a timer and temperature are so convenient. We utilize Silicone utensils are recommended to prevent scratches and have had no issues with scratches on the surface. The unit is simple to clean and just prepares the most beautiful meals! Highly recommended!

After about 10 uses, the writing on the control panel started to wear off. Also, I have owned multiple slow cookers over the years. All of them function well, just wore my last one out and decided to splurge on a “fancy “slow cooker since I use them so much. The sauté and steam options are not worth the extra hundred dollars I spent on this. Not even close. Does not store well with frequent movement between my cabinet, and the counter, looks far more worn than its age and use. Buying this was definitely a mistake.
