This is a great mattress. Very comfortable, not too soft , not too firm. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 star is because I'm not a fan of memory foam, but you can't get a mattress without it.

I bought a new home and furnished my bedroom with a new king size bed, so a new mattress from Stearns & Foster was my first choice. My new mattress is similar to my old Stearns & Foster mattress with a soft, tight top style. I am a side sleeper and this mattress is perfect for me. FWIW, my old, queen size Stearns & Foster mattress is still quite comfortable despite being 20 years old, so my guests will enjoy it on occasion in the spare bedroom.

I’d like to share a review of my new mattress the Stern and Foster ESTATE FIRM EPT. First, I’d like to give you a little background on why I selected this mattress. My husband and I were out mattress shopping because the mattress that was in our home was affected by the Eaton fire In January 2025 and had soot and an odor of smoke. We needed to replace it, which we were ok with that, because even though we had recently purchased that mattress in a 2021 and it wasn’t that old, it had already developed a slope and was not really that comfortable. Actually after it was delivered brand new’ it wasn’t that comfortable. So we were extremely happy to get a new mattress! We went to the local Sit And Sleep and tried, I’d say at least 15 different types, and kind of mattresses in our price range. We spent over two hours in the store trying to find the perfect mattress. I then remembered the story my best friend shared with me a couple months prior to us going shopping, that she had owned her Sterns and foster mattress for over 25 years and she was still so satisfied with her SF mattress! That speaks volumes on the quality, durability and how well made your mattresses are. She loves her mattress. She has the abilities to replace it, but she does not want to because she is very comfortable with it, but here’s the best part of the story. My best friend has gone through several body weight changes since she’s owned the S&F mattress, at one point she weighed over 325 pounds and now she weighs about 140 pounds. Your mattress still supports her and she’s still very happy with it! Now that’s a testimonial! We laid on this particular S& F mattress, and we fell in love with it, even though it was a little more than our budget , we purchased it and that is my testimony. From the minute it was delivered to our home till this point now three months later, we are very happy and pleased with our Purchase! It’s so comfortable and has increased our sleep time. Diagnosed, treated, and chronic.We have used our LuxEstate Pillow Top Firm for 28 days so far.I'm not going to tell you are backs are cured. They never will be. BUT from day one we noticed a difference that only got better as days went by. No other lifestyle changes period. The MOST AMAZING SLEEP SURFACE we have EVER slept on. And we have gone through at least four different mattress "systems" in the past 30+ years. I laid on it on my back the day it was delivered while the sheet set we got as a bonus was being laundered. When my wife walked into the bedroom and caught me exactly what I said to her was "Honey, this mattress KNOWS me.

This was my first real grown-up bed purchase and after ~40 days I'm very happy with it. I was a little nervous as it was incredibly firm when it arrived. However, after breaking it in for a few weeks it's much better. Regardless, even when it was firmer then I anticipated I still slept so much better then my old bed. I sleep much deeper with this mattress and feel more rested which has made need to sleep fewer hours. This is an expensive mattress but so far it's worth it. My only complaint is that one of the handles tore the first day I got it.

We tried 2 different bed models from a different manufacture and for us, they were so uncomfortable from the first night, and only got worse each night. There was no way we could keep either of these beds and returned them. We decided to move to different bed maker. After reading the reviews for S& F, it sounded too good to be true. We went ahead and ordered Sterns and foster, Lux estate soft pillow top, and we have had unbelievable sleep, since the first night. No "breaking in required." Ordered directly from Stearns and foster online. No hassle, delivery, and received it in less than 2.5 weeks. Great quality and even signed by bed maker. To me, that shows they really care. The only problem now is that it is so comfortable, we don't want to get up. Good problem to have!! We are so happy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Stearns and Foster mattress. I only bought the new one because we wanted to upgrade to a king from a queen size. My 6 year old queen was still holding strong! My husband and I are Stearns and Foster customers for life! No other mattress brand is more comfortable.

My wife and I have been married for 29 yrs. and this is our third Stearns and Foster bed - a queen and two kings. No doubt, the bed performance holds up to the test of time and is made of excellent quality. Our favorite part is the lack of vibration and movement when one of rolls over, changes positions or gets out of bed. By not knowing when the other is moving, this allows each of us to have uninterrupted sleep throughout the night. Like the three bears, the medium firmness is perfect for both of us. Not too soft that we sink in and get a sore back and not to firm that we get bed sores.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is really hard to find a truly firm mattress in todays market. All of the mattress stores only want to cary pillow top models. The y are more expensive so stores make more money on those models. However, for those with any disc/back issues - a super firm mattress is critical to spine health and day to day mobility. I am so glad that ordering our preferred model directly from Stearns & Foster - with complimentary white glove delivery - was an option. We could not be more plesed and well rested

Overall I find this mattress to be great quality. My only complaint after about a month is that I'm still feeling pressure points while sleeping on my back in the coccyx area. Yes, I roll on my side for relief so maybe I'm expecting too much. I am currently giving it 4 stars only because of what I mentioned. Once it's broken in maybe my opinion will change.
