I purchased this mattress from PC RICHARDS for my husband who has severe arthritis is his lower back and hips. Unfortunately for me it was like sleeping on boulders on a mountain. I had to go out a purchase a mattress topper so I could get one nights sleep. The only thing I would say IS IF YOU are a senior be careful what you buy.

I purchased this mattress from Mattress Firm. I explained to the salesperson I had chronic back pain and he showed me the Stearns and Foster. Of course, the mattress in the showroom was very comfortable, but when I got the mattress home, and layed on it, I knew something was wrong. I could feel the coils just from sitting in the bed. My back pain increased dramaticly from sleeping on the mattress. But, I realized the mattress I laid on in the showroom, the top of the mattress was dark blue (which was the Lux). After I realized what I received & what I layed on in the store was different, I immediately called the salesperson. I was told since I got the mattress on a deal they wouldn't take it back. I even went as far to as to speak with the manager...I was told he was the manager. I asked him if he could speak to his manager and explain what happened. I called back and was told that there was nothing they could do because I got the mattress on a deal. WOW...now I'm back again looking for a mattress that does not give me pain. I feel like I was taken advantage of. I hope someone from Stearns and Foster can make this right.

Bought the Matress and it was returned for a replacement. The displayed mattress was better and not the same as the one delivered. I would not recommend and customer, especially any z veteran waste their money. Big hope, very low quality. The mattress is like a boat after 4 months. It's not worth buying. You pay for the name and not the Quality. DO NOT BUY. My old mattress was better that this piece of junk,

This is a horrible mattress. I am writing this at 2 am because I am up again, sore and sleepy because this mattress is so uncomfortable. This is in no way soft. This is a concrete slab with 1/2 inch of padding. Over-priced and just a bad investment. This product changed my lie in that now my life sucks horribly because I cannot sleep and I am always sore. I love that I can at least return this junk mattress. I don't love everything else about it. I was bamboozled and sold a mattress that was not a mattress but a torture device designed to induce pain and deprive sleep. Do not buy this unless you want to torture yourself or someone else. This is a medieval torture device, nothing more. Think the rack but with less comfort.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given the opportunity to receive a free Estate soft tight top mattress from Stearns & Foster to try and give my honest opinion. I must say that it came at the right time. I'm currently recovering from surgery and waited until it was safe enough for me to switch out my old mattress with this one. As soon as I laid down, I knew that would be the first night I got a decent amount of sleep since coming home after my procedure. With my old mattress, I was constantly trying to turn over due to the springs being extremely uncomfortable which wasn't a good idea for someone who was in pain. I love the Fleur de Lis design on the mattress since it's a symbol that represents my home state. I really like how my body "sinks" into the bed especially after a long day BUT I do wonder if it will hold up after some time has passed. This concern could simply be due to the mattresses that I'm use to so I will definitely pay attention to it. If I had to choose a different type from this company, I would go for the Lux Estate Medium because of the added materials which are perfect for people like me who could really use the cooling cover and Tempur-Indulge Memory Foam. For the price, I would've never been able to purchase it myself, but I would certainly recommend it to people who can afford it. It seems bigger then my previous queen mattress which is amazing and really gives the space needed. You can sit bounce roll and it's all cushiony and cozy. The soft top was exactly what I needed.

From day one we had the comfort and support that we have always looked for and not found till now. Bed is soft but has all the support for back or side sleeper. There is no sag in any area of the mattress. It does not sleep hot which is a relief. I sleep hot as many mattresses do. For people with back issues this bed is worth a try.

I received the mattress and it seems like it already has sinking. It was not this way in the store. I put something across the mattress and you see where it is sinking already! So tired of this happening! I haven't had this mattress but 4 months. You can make this situation better if you use this information. Needs replaced!!!!
