I wanted to love this mattress. It honestly has the best support for your back and hips. I wake up with no back pain which is amazing. This product would be a perfect mattress if it wasn't for one major flaw, and that is that it sleeps HOT! And I mean HOT. Ive tried blowing 3 fans on me, have purchased a cooling mattress cover, and I am also using a BedJet. It still feels like my entire body is on FIRE! I used to sleep through the night, now I wake up 2-3 times from becoming overheated. I am waiting out the 30 days then I am going to exchange this at MattressFirm for a BeautyRest. In my opinion they have much better cooling technology. Stay away from this mattress if you at all are sensitive to your own body heat.

I used a medium firm mattress before and sometime my back hurts when I wake up, but it haven't bothered me anymore since I use this new mattress. My family have a good sleeping.

We bought our Sterns and Foster mattress 6 years ago. About 3 years ago, despite turning the mattress every 3-6 months and buying a box spring suggested by a salesman, we noticed that the mattress started developing dips. Now the dips are even deeper. The mattress was never really comfortable and now it is unbearable to sleep on. I have never had to replace a mattress this quickly!

We owned an S&F king size luxury firm pillow top for 9 years and when my back and knees gave out recently, we decided to purchase the estate king size firm tight top mattress. After just 2 nights of comfortable, excellent support, we feel this is a reliable, well- built mattress and recommend it to anyone with arthritis and/or back problems due to advancing age.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given the opportunity to receive a free Estate soft tight top mattress from Stearns & Foster to try and give my honest opinion. I must say that it came at the right time. I'm currently recovering from surgery and waited until it was safe enough for me to switch out my old mattress with this one. As soon as I laid down, I knew that would be the first night I got a decent amount of sleep since coming home after my procedure. With my old mattress, I was constantly trying to turn over due to the springs being extremely uncomfortable which wasn't a good idea for someone who was in pain. I love the Fleur de Lis design on the mattress since it's a symbol that represents my home state. I really like how my body "sinks" into the bed especially after a long day BUT I do wonder if it will hold up after some time has passed. This concern could simply be due to the mattresses that I'm use to so I will definitely pay attention to it. If I had to choose a different type from this company, I would go for the Lux Estate Medium because of the added materials which are perfect for people like me who could really use the cooling cover and Tempur-Indulge Memory Foam. For the price, I would've never been able to purchase it myself, but I would certainly recommend it to people who can afford it. THIS IS THE SECOND STERNS AND FOSTER MATTRESS I HAVE OWNED THE FIRST ONE WAS NOT TO BAD BUT THIS ONE IS TERRIBLE IT HAS MESSED MY BACK UP PURCHASED IT ABOUT 10 MONTHS AGO IT FELT DIFFERENT WHEN I LAYED ON THE DISPLAY MATTRESS WERE I BOUGHT IT FROM I TRIED IT FOR 60 DAYS WENT BACK TO WERE I BOUGHT IT FROM WAS TOLD YOU GOT 90 DAY TRIAL TRY IT FOR A LITTLE LONGER AND SEE IF IT BREAKS IN FOR YOU WELL IT NEVER DID WENT BACK TO THE STORE TO TRY TO CHANGE IT OUT FOR ANOTHER MATTRESS BUT THE HASSLE OF TRYING TO GET IT RETURNED IS NOT EASY NOW IAM STUCK WITH A BAD BACK AND EXSPENSIVE MATTRESS I DONT LIKE

Never owned a Stearns and Foster mattress before; so happy with my purchase! Going to buy one for our guest room. Thanks!

I started off with a Bed Tech copper lux soft mattress. We had a cold winter and my bedroom became cold. The Bed Tech mattress turned hard as a brick. I was miserable. I then tried a medium firmness Tempur-Pedic supreme overlay for the Bed Tech mattress. I I was miserable because it was too firm. I then tried an Adapt Tempur-Pedic overlay for the mattress. That was not comfortable either. I then went with a Saatva overlay for the mattress. That did not work and was not soft enough. Saatva then told me to order a feather overlay for the Saatva overlay mattress. I was sent two and both of them were contaminated with horrible odors that I could not use. I was so uncomfortable that I decided to get rid of everything and start all over again. I went with a full Estate soft pillow top. I love it. At first it was somewhat firmer than I liked but I have had it now for about 40 days and it is getting very soft and comfortable. I am now comfortable and am looking forward to going to bed rather than dreading it. It was expensive and a big financial burden but it is worth a good nights sleep.
