Just tried it this morning for the first time. I see no grand difference. It just reminds me when the strawberry Special K first came out and had more strawberries and it dwindled off as the years went on. So really in my opinion it's just a marketing ploy to sell more boxes at increased prices. I still enjoy Special K with strawberries I'm just not running out for it because it has "extra" berries.

I like Special K ceresl but usually only get any red berries in the first couple of boys. After that, no berries. It’s just plain bran cereal. I’ve read reviews on the site from a year ago complaining about the same issue, and Kellogg’s responded. They have been informed. So I’m wondering, why in a years time are there still very few berries? Are they seriously that expensive?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I really enjoyed the cereal. The flakes were delicious with the perfect crunch and didn't get soggy when in milk. I liked the tartness from the strawberries. The texture was a little weird when the strawberries soaked up some of the milk but that didn't keep me from enjoying the cereal.

Just so happens this cereal is my very favorite. I sometimes even have it for a snack in the afternoons and evenings. It is also great to eat right out of the box as I always do have it as a snack daily.. Then my husband is always wondering where all the strawberries went to.......lol But do not tell him....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kellogg's Special K Breakfast Cereal, Red Berries are absolutely yummy. Crunchy cereal that holds its crunch in milk, strawberries that smell and taste delicious. It's not too sweet, but not dry and bland. My whole family loves it!

I bought a box of this cereal with berries in it, and when I poured a bowl of it, there was not one berry in it, so I pulled the bag out of the box to look. I think I counted maybe five small pieces of strawberry. Never again. Not buying this. Don’t bother very disappointing.

My mom used to eat it while I was growing up, but I always preferred other cereals with lots of sugar. I fully expected to need to sprinkle sugar on it, had the sugar bowl out and everything. But I tried a bite and it was tasty so I put the sugar bowl away. I've been eating it for breakfast regularly!

I am the one that wants to drink the left over sugar out of the left over milk out of the bowl. I am also not a fan of the cereal having textured extras unless it is sugary marsh mellows. This cereal surprised me. The texture of the red berries was a little weird at first, but they grew on me as they soaked up the milk. The flakes were perfect and just the right amount of flavor on them. The berries turned the milk a pink color and gave the milk a little flavor addition. Overall, this cereal is good and I would purchase it for my household.

I go through 3 boxes or more a week of this delicious cereal! The flakes are so crunchy and just the right amount of sweet! The berries are plump, crunchy, and packed with flavor and there’s enough in a bag to get one in every bite! The exquisite combination of sweet crunchy flakes with the dried scrumptious strawberry’s are truly satisfying and divine to my tastebuds! Give it a try and you won’t be sorry, you’ll find the cereal you’ll have every morning for the rest of your life!!!

I have always loved Special K red berries. There's something about those dehydrated berries, rehydrating with milk that's gives it more of a strawberries & cream taste and the crunch of the flakes is just, Wow! I just hate I could not get my 3 month trial of Pandora for purchasing 2 boxes.
