I bought these because I kept seeing the commercial and it looked so good. They taste great but I was so disappointed about how many strawberries were in the bag. I poured a bowl and literally only one berry came out so I ended up fishing out a few more. PLEASE ADD MORE BERRIES and it will be a winner for me!!

Lately I've been getting 'bad' berries in the box. Like they were spoiled or on-the-verge-of when they went into the hydrator. Not all the berries, mind you. Most were still good. I continue to buy the red berries cereal though - hoping for the best and hoping I can spot the bad berries before they soak up milk and are eaten.

I was surprised how much flavor the dried berries have. They are a very nice compliment to the crunchy flakes. While I would like more berries, of course, the ratio of flakes to berries is good. The one comment I would like to make is I wish more of the Special K cereals were offered without wheat ingredients.

But thanks to the buzzcampaign I was able to try it again as a buzz agent. The first bit was like a burst of flavor. The strawberries add just the right amount of sweetness, though the special K breakfast cereal has a kid friendly sugary taste. You know all that sweetness is also back up by a rather sweet healthy choice, unlike many other good tasty cereals out there. I will begin to add Special K to my mornings, as well as recommand it to family and friends.

The red berries make it seem to them like a special treat added in. I also love that it is good with or without milk. I eat breakfast on the go so have found this to be a great option to eat dry without milk. Whereas my kids have their cereal with milk. The berries have a great texture either way.

I have been eating the red berries for years as it is my favorite cereal! But recently there have been no strawberries and this time there weren’t any, just a millimeter of a strawberry. Very disappointing, if I wanted to buy just the flakes I would!

I recently started eating this cereal love it. You can add to yogurt,.eat dry, eat as hot/ cereal, and even make delicious trail mix with it. Now- what about treats? Yes! : ) I melt dairy free dark chocolate chips, add a spoonful of peanut butter, mix cereal in. It's like dark chocolate PB strawberry puppy chow. The dried berries add pops of taste to it. Have not tried on dairy free ice cream yet, but I will. : ) Yum!

I have been buying Special K Red Berries Cereal for my younger son for about a year and he says it is one of his 2 favorite cereals. I usually buy 4-6 boxes at a time when they are on sale so he does not run out between visits home from school. I am very happy that he has found a healthy cereal to eat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Special K Red Berries was such a nice change from the original Special K. I really enjoyed the freeze dried strawberries in it and my daughter loved it too. The strawberries stayed fresh- not mushy. Such a great, healthy choice for breakfast!
