I'm not usually one for medium roast, it's always been light for me. However, this has a really smooth, bold flavor that I've really enjoyed. On top of giving me a great boost, I use it to add pep to my muffins in the morning by sprinkling some into the batter. I've tried it black and with cream and both come out great. Highly recommended.

My husband and I received the Boyers Aspen Gold ground coffee and couldn’t wait to try it!! It did not disappoint! It has a very smooth and mild flavor. We usually buy coffee beans and grind our own coffee so that it is very fresh. This ground coffee has a very fresh aroma and taste! We will definitely purchase this again.

I was very excited to try this coffee, as it’s a local company near me. I opted for the ground medium coffee, because I love a good medium roast coffee. Upon opening the package, it was a little bit difficult to open, but nothing that scissors couldn’t fix. I used my reusable k-cup to brew a cup of coffee for myself and it was delicious! Smooth, with no bitterness, making a great cup of morning coffee.

Aspen Gold is delicious from the time I opened the bag and my sense of smell kicked in! It's definitely a medium roast coffee and just has a nice smooth taste to it. It's not bitter at all. I normally prefer a darker roast but I was very impressed with this one and would purchase again. I have no problem drinking this blend straight up/black or I add a couple of ounces to my protein drink, so delicious! I use a french press when preparing.

I'm reviewing Boyers Aspen Gold Coffee today. I received the product and packaging in good order. The packaging is very nice and i appreciated the close ties on the packaging. When i opened the product packaging, I noticed that the coffee aroma was very pleasant, not strong or overpowering. The coffee color was nice and seemed appropriate for a Medium roast coffee. The grind was nice and worked well with a pour over brew method that I use. The taste was mild and sweet and something that I would drink on a daily basis. My preference is to enjoy coffee with cream and sugar, but feel that black would also be enjoyable. Overall I was very pleased with the Product and would recommend it for others to try and enjoy.

This coffee is delicious. Smooth and rich coffee in the morning makes me happy and this coffee does the trick. It has a deep rich flavor and tastes great with and without cream and sugar. I love that it comes in a large bag, too! My employees say it is their favorite coffee we have had in our office so far. I highly recommend this product.

My typical morning coffee is ground from whole bean daily. It’s an organic dark roast; a store brand purchased from a major organic retailer so I was interested to see how this coffee would compare. The bag of coffee was amply sized at two pounds. It came pre ground and was packed well to ensure freshness. And I mean well- see the attached photo for reference. The seal was so good it could not be pulled apart by hand. After many tries at pulling it open, I gave up and cut it with a knife - I needed that brew to get the day started. I typically drink a darker roast, so I did not find the flavor of Aspen Gold to be as robust, but I got the caffeine perk more quickly. I added a pinch of salt to the pot and it rounded out the flavor nicely. This is consistent with it being is to be a lighter roast - more caffeine. After a couple weeks of drinking I can say that it is a solid coffee, especially for those who prefer a medium roast. The price is fair and I would have no problem serving this to family or guests. Still, as previously previously referenced, I prefer a darker more robust flavor, so this particular coffee won’t be on my regular shopping list. Pros: caffeine perk, good value Cons: brighter flavor than I prefer, package very difficult to open

This is one of my favorite. It's a finer grind so I used it fir hot brew at home. It's great for lattes or just straight black. I'd love to try this in a cold brew with a coraser grind. It's flavorful, strong, and dark - just how I like my coffee!

I was pleasently surprised by this coffee. I usually drink a darker roast but found this medium roast very smooth with a hint a chocolate. It had no bitter after taste and did not give me hearburn, which I usually get with dark roast, if I drink it in the evening. The first time I tried it was with a cheese danish and it was a perfect dessert coffee.

I recieved this coffee to test in exchange for my personal review. I am a mother to small children, so coffee is a staple in my home. While I do enjoy a hot cup here and there, I most often brew a strong pot, and refrigerate it to make iced coffee. I had never tried this brand or roast before. I had an extremely hard time opening the package, like to the point the bag ripped on both ends(I'm not positive it wasnt operator error, but it was a struggle). Once opened, the scent was very nice, it is ground nicely, and ready to use. Once brewed, it has a nice flavor, a bit stronger than I expected, comparable to what I currently use. Makes decent Iced coffee. I will definitely finish the bag, but I'm not sure I'll go out of my way to purchase in the future.
