We've had this mattress 4 weeks today. It is the 2nd S & F mattress. We exchanged a Lux Estate PT for this Estate TT after the first mattress had body indentions after only 1 week! Now, after 4 weeks, this mattress is showing body indentions also! I am petite, 5'2" 112 lb. and my husband is 5'6", 160 lb. So, we are hoping the top will even out but not banking on it. Very disappointed given this is the second mattress and the price of both. Basically, what should be a wonderful experience (getting a new mattress) has turned into a sad experience.

My first stearns and foster mattress. I have had for about 2 weeks. My boyfriend prefers firm, I prefer more plush feel. We settled on the estate medium. So far we are both very happy with this purchase. Very comfortable and have been sleeping very well. Look forward to many years of comfort.

We have Hurston Luxury Firm. It started feeling like a hammock after the first two months. We rotated it once a month, which didn't help. I waited a year and a half to file a warranty and was denied because the measurement of the gullies was 1.5 on one side and the other side was 1.3. Not only does it feel like sleeping on a hammock, but the foam layer is also compressed so much in the dips we feel like the coils are digging in our backs. It's unacceptable to have that problem with a mattress that's less than two years old. The mattress store we bought it from said give it a little more time, and they're sure we'll have a warranty claim soon. We just ordered another mattress from another company and will never buy another Stearns and Foster!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Usually, I have extra things added to my bedding to make it more comfy, no matter what mattress I had I always had the memory foam toppers, the egg carton-looking topper, or unused blankets just to add more cushion. Not with this mattress. Granted, it took about a month to break it in for it to be comfy, but now it is the best sleep EVER. I sink right into it. The mattress is by no means thin. It is very thick and plush. I highly recommend this brand!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given the opportunity to receive a free Estate soft tight top mattress from Stearns & Foster to try and give my honest opinion. I must say that it came at the right time. I'm currently recovering from surgery and waited until it was safe enough for me to switch out my old mattress with this one. As soon as I laid down, I knew that would be the first night I got a decent amount of sleep since coming home after my procedure. With my old mattress, I was constantly trying to turn over due to the springs being extremely uncomfortable which wasn't a good idea for someone who was in pain. I love the Fleur de Lis design on the mattress since it's a symbol that represents my home state. I really like how my body "sinks" into the bed especially after a long day BUT I do wonder if it will hold up after some time has passed. This concern could simply be due to the mattresses that I'm use to so I will definitely pay attention to it. If I had to choose a different type from this company, I would go for the Lux Estate Medium because of the added materials which are perfect for people like me who could really use the cooling cover and Tempur-Indulge Memory Foam. For the price, I would've never been able to purchase it myself, but I would certainly recommend it to people who can afford it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress is great! It is so comfortable to sleep on. It's firm enough to not hurt my back but the pillow top provides enough comfort to give me a good solid nights rest. When I wake up I am fully rested and not sore at all. I would definitely recommend deep pocket sheets to keep them from popping off while you sleep. It's a great mattress, and the handles make it really easy to move around when needed.

We bought the softer SF mattress and was disappointed that the pillow top began to crater after just 3 days. After 60 days, we just couldn't roll out of the crater and decided to get the other mattress that didn't have such a thick pillow top. Now that we've got 30 days into the Estate mattress, it has maintained it's firmness. The problem is that it's way too firm. I am buying a topper in hopes of getting some releif because I can't sleep on it anymore, just too painful. I hope the premium topper provides a better durability thank the SF first mattress. I just can't take it.

Bought this mattress from Ashley furniture located in the Woodlands, Tx area. The mattress edge broke down within a few months. We turned the mattress and the other side edge support broke down with in a few months. This mattress is used by an elderly person who weighs about 130lbs so weight and size of the person is not in question. The results of this defective edge has caused her to constantly roll off the edge of the bed. We contacted Ashley Furniture for help, they sent a mattress warranty claim representative to check out the issue. He reported the findings to Stearns and Foster. Your company DENIED any help, leaving an elderly woman at risk of really being hurt each time the defect causes her to roll out of bed.

I should have done better research. I don't think this is the best bed for my back. My degenerative disc disease has only gotten worse. I guess I just had a lot going on at the time and wasn't thinking as clearly as I should have when I purchased it.

Great quality mattress that affords a restful night's sleep! First time customer and the craftsmanship exceeded my expectations! Soft mattress that does not sink and bounces backeach day (side & back sleeper). I highly recommend this mattress company and I will be a lifelong customer.
