Previous bed was a sleep number. This mattress I've had about 90 days just turned it to break in other side I used to wake up sweating with the sleep number bed and now I never wake up sweating I sleep longer also I don't wakeup with back pains anymore. Best mattress I've ever slept on in my life!! Just wish I could have afforded the next level up from the estate collection to get that gel cooling layer cuz I prefer to sleep really cold

We just purchased a King sized Stearns and Foster Estate mattress. It is very comfortable and very well made. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to buy a new mattress! We have had other products before and this is by far the best mattress that we have ever owned.

I tried this for 30 days and I do not like all the memory foam in this mattress, it's too hot to sleep, I sweat all night long and I am used to a traditional innerspring mattress, and I do not like that there is no bounce back or is really slow to bounce back, the memory foam is very prominent. This mattress was not soft enough for me (my body would fall asleep if I was sleeping on my side and my shoulder would hurt) but may have been if it weren't for all the memory foam. I do have issues with back/neck pain. This was a good quality mattress and I hope Stearns and Foster changes or adds a model that doesn't have so much memory foam in a soft TT or soft pillowtop that is affordable. I would hope to try this in the future because it seems like a well-made mattress and I never experienced what they were like before Tempur-Pedic acquired them, maybe I would have liked them then but couldn't afford it at the time. Hope this helps someone, and I hope Tempur-Pedic can make a mattress without so much memory foam!

This is a pretty fantastic mattress, it offers lots of support, you can tell it's very high quality. The mattress I was sleeping on before was only two years old and never offered this type of support, this mattress literally hugs your body and doesn't put extra pressure on your joints. Me and my Beau, both have been sleeping on this mattress and have been sleeping much better and more soundly, my Beau has said his back and legs hurt less since we started using this mattress, it's also much quicker to get comfortable which has resulted in less tossing and turning. I would absolutely buy this product and recommend it to anyone looking for a new mattress, that is not only comfortable but provides support, it's worth every penny. The mattress itself is very luxurious looking, it has a nice blue and a beautiful pattern on the pillow top, you can see how high quality the stitching is and the soft handles make it very easy to move, it is a bit heavy-duty but I think that adds to the fact it's made to last. We chose this mattress to replace one that was too soft for him. This mattress is very comfortable for both of us. We do not feel each other moving at night and both of us wake up refreshed in the morning. This bed feels comfortable and sturdy and has not yet formed any indentations where we sleep. I was given this bed in exchange for my honest review and I can say we would certainly purchase this mattress again!

Awful. We got it to replace a 20 yr old S&F. This mattress is a work of pure evil. Underneath you is some sort of material that resembles a thin wool blanket. It will keep you very hot. I've tried sleeping on it for 3 nights, I got 3hrs one night and 2 x 5hrs before being woken by furnace like temperatures. How much of that was REM God only knows. If you like to control your body temp and 'security' by way of your own blankets, seriously look elsewhere. You'll likely find that you'll need to pitch your blankets off which in turn will leave that part of your body getting gradually colder. Their sales documentation states that the mattress takes heat away from the sleeper, that's a lie and false advertising.

King Estate mattress badly sagging after 3 months..sterns and foster is not the quality mattress it once was..10 yr warranty is a joke..they will not help me at all..told me to contact retailer I bought it from..they told me they could not help and to contact sterns and foster..do not waste your money ...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress is so amazing, I've never slept so good. It's firm not hard and you can't feel and movement when sleeping next to another . It's a high profile mattress so getting out of bed is a breeze . I have no more back pain when waking up in the morning ,It's honestly changed how I sleep and how long I stay asleep . I would pick this mattress again and again . It has a quilted plush top its so nice it's a non flipping mattress you just need to rotate it every 6 mths or s. It is heavy but it does have handles on the side which helps a ton .

I recently purchased my very first Stearns & Foster Estate Queen Medium mattress, and topped it off with 2 S&F Lux Estate Queen pillows, and can I say I am sleeping so much better than I have in a very long time. On top of poor sleep, I was experiencing lower back pain, but I haven't had any since sleeping on my new S&F mattress. The quality, workmanship and comfort of the mattress is far better than any I have purchased over the years. I would say Stearns & Foster is the Rolls Royce of mattresses!

We have only had the mattress a few days but so far, we have enjoyed restful sleep. The "SF Estate Soft" mattress is actually a "firm" mattress but is very comfortable; not too firm and not too soft. We paired it with an adjustable frame and enjoy the ability to choose a slightly inclined position for the head and foot area. I think we made a good choice for ourselves. Stearns and Foster has been in business many decades and if their mattresses were not superior, I don't think they would still be in business.
