He sleeps very hot. Cannot get cool. Cannot get comfortable. Cannot get sleep overrated. it's only a year and a half old. I wish I could take it back.

We purchased the Estate medium firm which we tested in the store. This is our third Sterns and Foster mattress but this new design is awful. As soon as it arrived we called the store thinking, despite the label, they had sent us the firm in error as the bed was very hard. We were told it needed time for the top to release. It’s now been just over a year, it is still very hard and has developed deep body wells and I now have spinal back pain. We rotate this mattress monthly and even rotate a quarter turn sleeping on it cross-wise. We have had an expert inspect it and the result is the wear is “normal” so there is nothing we can do. We are looking for alternatives and will need to donate a near-brand-new mattress to find comfort. We are so disappointed.

I recently circle back to the Stearns & Foster after having one while married for 20 years (yes I know too long, 15 was probably long enough for the mattress and marriage but here we are😊). Treated myself to a new S&F because I needed it and deserved one which really is ok to say, already adjusting to sleeping more than a couple hours a night. While it’s not the freeflow waterbed of the 80s from my younger days it’s the next best step to getting a good nights rest. Highly recommend to all my fellow Gen Xers.

Our new Stearns & Foster Estate Firm Tight Top Mattress - Queen is fabulous. We had an older model Stearns & Foster Queen mattress and it needed to be retired. We always have had a Stearns & Foster mattress in our house. Our new mattress is a major upgrade in comfort and stability. Our sleeping patterns have definitely improved. Tossing and turning to get comfortable is a thing of the past. So happy with our new mattress - highly recommended the Stearns & Foster line.

So far, my husband is getting a much better night of sleep since getting his Stearsn & Foster Queen Estate Firm Tight top mattress. He has stopped waking up with back pain and is sleeping through the night. He said it feels soft and comfortable, but he's supported as well. He would highly recommend this mattress.

We purchased this mattress in 2025. We tested the floor model and it seemed like a good fit. BUT within a few weeks of sleeping on it it became lumpy, and still is. We should have returned ii within the allowed time but we thought it needed a breaking in period. With much regret we're stuck with it. We will buy a new mattress soon to replace this one. We won't return to a Stearns and Foster brand.

I bought this mattress for my mom & dad as a gift, they absolutely LOVE it! My dad has sleep apnea, so he hast to sleep on his back and my mom has multiple medical problems, including an autoimmune disease that affects her muscle muscles, she is in constant pain. Both of my parents said the mattress is so comfortable that they are able to comfortably sleep through the night and their pain has lessened. They are thrilled with this mattress, and I am thrilled for my parents that the mattress has been so good for their health.
